Bruce was asked if he thought this year's incarnation of the Spurs was one of their best AND deepest. He said something to the effect of "not even close."

He liked the 2005 Championship team that beat the Pistons because of their bench. In addition to the Big 3, he said that team had Beno Udrih, Brent Barry, Robert Horry and Nazr Mohammed which made them versatile.

While I happen to agree with him as far as the 2005 roster being one of, if not our best teams, I thought he got a little petty. He said Diaw was out of shape and that Jackson and Mills were still getting acclimated to the team. Diaw isn't in the best shape but I don't know that its hurt his contributions.

Apparently there was no love for Danny Green or Gary Neal or Tiago Splitter.
