First the NBA commercial and now Kenny, Shaq and Chuck all giving props to the Spurs - has the NBA finally figured out that they'll get better ratings in the Finals if they don't ignore the Spurs all year long?
If that's so, it's the best evidence against this league being rigged - seems like the marketing folks are starting to think there's a chance the Spurs might make it to the Finals (meaning they can't prevent it again:lol) and they're going to actually try and give them a little burn on the marketing front.
Or maybe it's a little hat tip to the Spurs - either way it's unexpected.
