Bill Belichick, Doc Rivers among highest paid coaches in America

According to Forbes magazine, the three-time Super Bowl winning Patriots head coach makes more money than any other coach in America. Belichick's estimated salary of $7.5 million puts him at the top of the Forbes list.

The two other top-10 paid coaches come from the NBA: Celtics coach Doc Rivers ($7 million) and San Antonio Spurs coach Greg Popovich ($6 million).

Interesting, I think that Phil was making $10M / year. Larry Brown was also making a lot in NYC.

If I remember correctly PJ used to make 10 a year, if pop didnt make more then him he should've atleeast made the same.

PJ was actually making $12M, but he took a paycut his last season with the Lakers.

Are those salaries taking into account other duties they have on the team? If that's the case, Pop and Belichik are underpaid tbh

Really slick move for coach Gregg Popovich in negotiating that contract with front-office executive Gregg Popovich.
