I have to admit OKC fans have been doing a great job, pretty loud over there throughout the game.

No kidding. That OKC crowd reminds me of the Alamodome during '99 season and AT&T Center during '03 Playoffs.

spurs fans havent been as rabid since the first few championship years
EcaXoOv9MrA
after every bucket you can see them erupt
its usually on big plays now that that happens
but this was also during a finals not what most predict to be a 4-0 4-1 sweep series

Quite the color coordinating in the OKC stands last night..Why dont the Spurs do something to that affect?? Miami has their "white out"..SA should do a BLACKOUT! not that it would help, but it couldnt hurt..and it may just be what the fans need to get them off their dead asses-

Even the press is getting too ahead of themselves. The Clippers will be a tough out. Period.

Would be great to see, but a company would have to step in and foot the bill, I doubt the Spurs would just do that.

Perhaps. Although I think the Spurs' formula to beat OKC and everyone else is to keep playing the same style of basketball that's brought them this far.

White Out or Black Out won't help if there's no transition D

If the Clips get 2 games it will be a major upset - talk about an over-hyped team other than Paul and Pop has figured out a way to control him. Keep relative control of Paul and the Clipps might turn out to be easier in the end than the Jazz.

He owns at least one oil change place in SA. People call him Mr Valvoline or something. In '99 we called him "the happy guy" because he was always on tv with a big smile. Turns out he was just so fucking amped that the Spurs were steamrolling towards a title.

This dude is greatness. He always looks stoned on TV too. BY the 4th quarter, he looks to drunk to even look at the camera when they are shwoing the announcers on TV. And when he does look at the camera he looks like he just woke up from a nap. Love this guy. :toast

It is funny hearing fans whine about the crowd when they can't be bothered to get to the fucking arena. :lol

That's not nice, TPark.
The fan was just speaking the truth, the Spurs' fans are nothing like Ok City fans. They used to be, but the last 10 years, they have been pretty lame in comparison to some ofthe more rabid fans throughout the NBA.
I do not think matching teeshirts are going to solve the problem, but it looks cool on tv. It gives the look of a college atmosphere.
Maybe after the Thunder win 4-5 championships, the fans might become more stoic and jaded, but nowadays, they remind me of when I used to go to the Hemisfair arena in the 70s and early 80s.

Just like we would like the Mavs to defeat a more faggy team than them, such as Lakers or Heat.
The only difference here is Spurs are not faggy at all, unlike the Mavs.

Marc Stein has always been one of the most pro-Spurs guys on ESPN. This is nothing new.
