Just saw on Espn the top performers in the last five minutes of a five points or closer game. George Hill is just below Chris Paul and above Kobe Bryant. Really the only non-household name on that short list. Good for him. Kawhi is still what the Spurs needed though.

ESPN must be looking just at this playoff run because Hill's clutch stats have never been impressive. In this regular season, he was about the fifth clutchest Pacer.

Dirk Nowitzki is tops, but that will change as he is no longer eligible to accumulate postseason stats until next season.

dude, I'm pretty sure a lot of us respectable Spurs fans acknowledge that Dirk is an all-time great and HoF bound. I have a lot of respect for him, I just don't respect your franchise because Mark Cuban acts like an idiot, Jason Terry is dirty and harms other player, along with other knucklehead players on the Mavs.

Anyone who blatantly misuses "there" for "their" need not throw the Einstein epithet around.

Dirk was outstanding at hitting last minute shots to close the deficit to single digits.

you're still thinking about men's asses. is it dark in that closet?

Hill really adds alot to the Pacers defense. Vogel definitely made the right move to start him. I still don't fully trust him as a PG on offense.

maybe hill will get a chance to guard parker in the finals.

Like I always said, bringing george hill back will only make the spurs A even more dangerous team.

For shooting, yes. But not in defense and making plays. "Clutch stats" and "eye test" usually ignores playmaking and defense when people talk about "clutch", and pidgeonhole that definition to just be talking about shooting.

Don't forget, Pacers are 35-15 with Hill, and 7-9 without this year. He's a huge reason why they're so good this year. He's been looking like a Pacers' team leader in the last couple months. Especially in the playoffs. They even defer to him at times. . .it's really a sight to see.

Meanwhile, Indy's Roy Hibbert describes Duncan as a mentor "who texts me after every game." (http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-ball-dont-lie/dwyane-wade-clashes-coach-pacers-dominate-paint-series-025725572.html;_ylt=AjSNYfs3nnf3uU4rsgp65QW8vLYF)
