Spurs-Heat: Who would most NBA fans *prefer* to win?

Let's say that the Spurs meet the Heat in the Finals. Which team would most NBA fans want to win (or want to lose)?


Dislike of the Miami Heat and Bosh/Wade/LeBron seems to be pretty strong nationwide among NBA fans. Sure, the Spurs are boring, but is "boring" enough to make the fans want a Heat win? I doubt it.


Celtics, Pacers and Magic fans would probably root for the Spurs, while Lakers, Clippers and Jazz fans might root for the Heat - but Mavs fans dislike the Heat, and I don't know what Thunder fans would think.

Perception is strong. We could be the highest scoring team in the league with the most dunks, the Lakers could be the lowest scoring with the least dunks, but I'm sure most fans would still think the Lakers to be "flashier" than the Spurs.

Spurs, but none of these teams will make the finals.

Miami without Bosh lose their edge in the East. Their offense becomes too easy to stop.
