I personally was a little weary of him at first, he did look outta shape. But he has proven to be the best trade this year. IMO

He is fat. But he plays really, really well with us. He could teach Blair a few things about how fat guys should play...

Wasn't a trade. Charlotte bought out his contract

i see. i thought he was part of the mills, jackson trade....either way, he's proven to be the best addition soo far. With jackson in a close 2nd...Jackson's 3's have been steadily improving...

You always have to be wary of a player that another team gives up on in mid-season for an alleged lack of effort or interest and being out of shape.

Apparently Diaw wasn't interested in playing 'dumb' basketball and the move to the Spurs has rejuvenated him.

When the FO and Pop keep coming up with these great pieces to the puzzle of the makeup of a great team--discards, malcontents, odd draft choices, and bargain basement pickups--after a while it simply can't be called luck.

Fail again. Mills wasn't a trade either.

I bet the Heat are mad they went after Turiaf instead of Diaw.

I've defended Boris and his weight from day 1 of him coming to the Spurs... and didn't notice many "spurs fans" agreeing with me.

I have been presently surprised as well. He's been able to keep talented players at bay (Milsap/Griff) at least to the point of making it extremely hard for them to score. He does all the little things very well. His weight doesn't bother me too much, but he cold shed some. His three's were big last game.

He was an all star caliber player when he took over for amare while amare was injured, but with amare,s return he couldn't get into a groove at any other position though he wasn't a dud by any means. Nash was rather bent when they dealt him away.

The Big Easy. Is he the Ernie Els of basketball now? I can see it.
