he be hitting FA market end of the season

dunno how much he has commanded $$

do you overpay him +15m/yr base on future potential? or

do you overpay cause of demand/supply of bigs in the league??

hibbert age 26
this season 29.8mpg 12.8ppg 8.8rpg 2.0bpg
1 round 29.2mpg 11.0ppg 10.8rpg 3.8bpg
2 round 31.7mpg 14.7ppg 13.3rpg 3.0bpg

only problem is injury prone or cant play heavy minutes, but then again if you can control his minutes and stay healthy...does it justify payin him near max?

ive watch alot of pacers playoff games this season, he looks good whether lack of bigs in the east or he just stands out cause of his 7'2 frame cleaning up, he looks hungry and motivated maybe its a contract year or just beating the cheat....

Not even close.

1 - massive liability defending pick'n'roll, pick'n'pop, transition and mobile bigs
2 - not enough stamina to play more than 30 mpg
3 - 13ppg scorer with Al Jefferson level of efficiency. This guy in his career year was basically as efficient as Kobe this season. Let it sink. A center. Who only scores 13ppg.

This guy will be massively overpaid starting next season.

I dont' think he's injury prone btw. Don't feel like checking, but I dont' remember any significant injuries at all. All guys this size tend to have short careers though.

Amongst 5s, I'd take Al Horford, KG, Bynum, Marc Gasol, Chandler, Duncan and Joakim Noah over him..including potential, I take Cousins over him, too..

He'll get around 11 million, which is what most of these players are making, IIRC..

He won't get max, but using Kwame as a barometer, he'll get at least $7M. :lol

Bigs get overpaid nowadays.

He'll seek 5 yrs 60-65 mil contract, and if the Pacers did beat the Heat, he'll get that contract, this series is his breakout payday one.

decent player but you're stupid if you think someone is offering him max, somewhere between 8m and 10m a year should be the proper pricetag for him imho

Not a max player, not even close. But he's a good kid, coachable, and he's not a dumbass like Bynum.

Nah, but good centers are all but extinct now with D12 out and Bynum acting like Dennis the Menace.
