It was not THAT bad.

Refs screwed up more in favour of the Lakers, but it was bad in general for both teams.

I stopped watching midway through the 3rd it became so blatantly obvious. I want this series to go 7 games, but I just cannot watch that shit and not feel like I am watching WWE.

Stern can't let his golden boy franchise get swept like the underachieving shitsacks they are two years in a row.

18 FTA for a jumpshooter who never goes to the rim is fuckin' nonsense.

stern learned how to rig games better since everyone called him out in 2002. the refs camouflaged their boost to the lakers through bad officiating but making sure it eventually benefits the lakers more.

I don't mind the Lakers extending the series, but it was pretty bad... +12 freebies on a game that's decided by 3 points is huge.

Lakers made their 99% of their freethrows and got a few more calls. It's homecourt so that's standard for ANY team. Legit win by L.A. imo

Agreed. OKC (jump shooting team) shot way too many FTs. That was some bullshit. :downspin:

There were at least two BS Harden "fouls" on Kobe. But I'm not to complain. The Lakers won.

Yeah it was rigged in favor of the Lakers, but OKC gets more than its fair share of bullshit reffing (as does Miami), so I kind of don't mind.

Lakers haven't had rigged reffing in their favor for a solid 2 years now. This is the first game since game 7 of the 2010 Finals that the Lakers have received such a blatant rigged game, but OKC has received numerous key rigged calls in their favor over the last 1-2 years, albeit not necessarily all at once like L.A. did tonight.

Non-aggressive jump-shooting teams don't get that many free-throws. So many bullshit calls.

OKC is going to have regroup, and take this game as learning experience.
You have to play better/harder if you want to beat the Lakers and their refs.

Son Joey Crawford is as crooked as they come.

I have no idea how he still has a job in the NBA.......oh wait the whole system is based on croakeness.

Refs like Crawford are welcome here.

Probably the worst officiated game in recent memory.

Son the WWE does a better job than this. Truth.

It wasn't so bad, tbh..Lakers got the standard HCA calls, nothing that stood out more than the usual..

Kobe got superstar treatment, but that's the NBA..

OKC is the most protected team in NBA history, anyways..

:lol anybody mentioning Miami..the Heat haven't received any help vs. Indiana, at all..

Since the game 1 blowout, Lakers are 174 to OKC's 171.

The series could very well go long, and there's a very good chance Kobe/Lakers will get the calls in a game 7.

Game 4 will be a big test of OKC's mettle. They looked rattled by the calls tonight.
I'd love to see an emphatic blowout, but I think OKC is hearing footsteps.

Interesting that when Stern needs to bail out the lakers he assigned Crawford and Zach Zarba.

Don't know who the third idiot was but he sucked just as bad.

You now know which refs will be assigned to the most important games.

“I don’t give a [fuck] what you say,” Bryant told Yahoo! Sports late Friday. “If I go out there and miss game winners, and people say, 'Kobe choked, or Kobe is seven for whatever in pressure situations.' Well, [fuck] you.

“Because I don’t play for your [fucking] approval. I play for my own love and enjoyment of the game. And to win. That’s what I play for. Most of the time, when guys feel the pressure, they’re worried about what people might say about them. I don’t have that fear, and it enables me to forget bad plays and to take shots and play my game."
