The Spurs came back from a 24-point deficit to win this game, but really this victory is nothing to get excited about. The Spurs just went out, did what they were supposed to do, and beat a team they were supposed to beat. No big surprises, no big shock, no big celebrations. The Clippers actually had no business building such a big lead and it was more about what the Spurs didn't do, than about what the Clippers did do.

The Clippers just came out excited and pumped up in front of their home crowd and made a couple of fake shots here and there. Nothing big. They just wanted to shoot some bullshit shots and try to win the game by making baskets. That's not how you win a game. In a 48-minute game, the better team wins. Again, the Spurs just beat a team they were supposed to beat. The Spurs have won 17 straight games and are 7-0 in the playoffs, so today's win doesn't come as a surprise.

Nothing personal against the Clippers, they're just not that good. No trash talking. Again, the Clippers had no business even being in this game. They wanted to come out and try and disrespect the Spurs and make a lot of shots. Sorry Clippers. That's not how you win a game.

It wasn't just their shooting they were playing with a defensive intensity that's just not sustainable for 48 minutes. It's basically like a runner starting a marathon by going full speed and then having nothing left later in the race.
