The NBA defines a "close" game as 3 points or less. The Spurs have won all 17 games by 4 points or more. Only one team in NBA history ever won 18 games in a row by 4 points or more; the LA Lakers of Wilt, West, Happy, Gail, and Jim McMillian. They won 33 in a row. And thye won it all.

Very true, because everything about this series changes with the next. Every game is a game 6 or 7. It needs to be treated like that. In the end, I'm not worried about that because Popovich and Duncan have the knowledge of this. They don't need to get "devastated", they will battle back. All I know is, this is just fun to watch.
