Of course. Game 7 of the Finals. Two evenly matched teams keeping it close throughout. I've never sweated so much in a cold room in my life.


I remember watching that game on a huge inflatable screen in the parking lot of Champps on Huebner. There was a table full of Pistons fans, and they were hooting and hollering early in the game, but when the Spurs put the hurt on, they snuck out and were long gone by the final buzzer. That was such a great game!

Looked like we were in a deep hole, and then Timmy took over the 3rd Q, put us on his back, fought through tenacious double teams, and we climbed out of that 7pt hole. After that, we broke it open and the 4th was ours.

So many people label that series "boring", but those people don't clearly don;t appreciate great basketball. One of the greatest series of all time.

Even as we were down in the 4th quarter I almost knew we would come back and when. My blood pressure usually rises towards the waning minutes, but not in the last month or so. Funny how an 18 game win streak helps alleviate high blood pressure! GO SPURS GO!!!

I probably downed 5 or so beers during that 4th Q alone! I had quite a few before and after too, but the 5 in 20 some odd mins for me has to be a record in that short period of time! I was out of my cot damn mind that night.

I am so relieved that we swept the Clippers tonight. A win in Game 5 was far from guaranteed. The Clippers had been getting better and better with each game in this series.

You see that is what scared me! You know sometime in history some team will come back from 3-0 to win a series! You let a team get confidence and bow down 3-1 and then they steal one in game 5 then. They have a shot in game 6! I always fear that each run we have, I saw the Clippers playing outta their mind tonight man, I knew if the the Spurs would let this go 5 then anything could happen if they got healthier and confident.

Heh...true...but our teams in 2004 and 2006 were pretty damn awesome, too, and they still fell short.

This year's Spurs team has that special feel, though...kind of like the Mavs were last year...they're on a mission, and nobody is going to deny them the :lobt2:
