Normally I don't like to bag on other teams' columnists. Their job requires championing their team in the good times, and ripping the opposing team for whatever it takes to get their readers to click on the links to their articles.

And I didn't really care that he called "Bucko" a "negative columnist" for him writing what I thought to be a fair critique of Griffin's game. But Simer got all mad because it was Griffin's first playoffs, he was in the second round, and he still has years a head to develop. In other words, we should be celebrating Griffin, not criticizing him.

But then Simer writes this "negative column" about DeAndre Jordan, another young player playing in his first playoffs and with years ahead to deliver and writes this article:

During the interview was someone actually telling Jordan he's soft? Or was that taken out of context? It was written to sound like the writer didn't actually say that to him.

Pretty low to call him a waste of space. Could have phrased it better.

I hope TJ Simers and Bill Plaschke die.
