Lebron w/ 40 points 18 rbs and 9 assists against the Pacers in game 4. Wade dropped 30. Series now 2-2. Still think the Pacers can beat the Heat? Can either beat Boston? Who do the Spurs potentially match up best against

Bosh or no Bosh, the Heat will come out of the East.

The more telling stat to me is that Ronny Turiaf played 14 minutes and his only statistical contributions were a rebound, two turnovers and four fouls.

Obviously the superior waiver wire choice to Boris Diaw.

james gets all the calls
granger and james gets into it
ganger every game gets the tech
james pushes off on drives no call on him but pacers
it is BS

This. LeBron and Wade are too good for the East to overcome.

wade and james will not be able to average 70 the rest of the way
that is the only way they win games
if they do come out of east the west team will be able to easily beat them
they will be gassed

Unless Bosh comes back reasonably healthy, the Heat have no shot of getting by the Celtics...none.

They can play defense, and it saved their ass today.

I dunno - with all the nagging injuries the Celtics have, it sometimes feels like the only things keeping the team from physically falling to pieces are baling wire and spit.

The championship will be the Spurs vs. OK..........who ever wins goes on to an easy sweep.

Bosh or no Bosh, the Heat will come out of the East.

But you have to wonder if Wade and Lebron can sustain performances like that. By the time they reach the Finals they will be exhausted.

I don't give a shit who beats them, the heat better not win the title man. It would be oh so sweet to crush LeBrick in the finals again though

Pacers coaching staff made mistakes that the Spurs coaching staff can't make. They started the game jacking threes ... instead of going inside. The Pacers forgot how they won 2 games. They left Wade get back into the game after keeping him in check in the first half. Battier guarding West and Turiaf guarding Hibbert ... come on, this is a no brainer.

Not beating the celtics without bosh

Congrats to the Heat.
It may be difficult to sustain that kind of performance, tbh.

Lebron had a monster game. Pacers jacked up too many 3s. Made mistakes.

Wade got himself going again.

Heat can win this series, but Pacers need to play smarter. Lebron/Wade need to both go nuts every game. They are both more than capable of doing that.

Heat win when Hibbert and West get in early foul trouble. How convenient.

This, it took LeBron that crazy stat line and wade having 30 with missing only a couple of shots just to beat the pacers. without Bosh they have NO chance of beating a healthy Celtics squad.

The Celtics are playing terrible tbh, the Pacers/Heat winner is going to the finals.

It's pretty dumb to play down their stats by rationalizing with things like :cry they needed to have that kind of game to win :cry

Of course they did. They are the stars of their team and they are paid to do that. If they are not going to show up in a crucial playoff game on the road, then they are worthless.

40-18-9 isn't a typical stat lie, only like one other player in the history of the game has done that in a playoff game, without a game like that they lose, fact.

Spurs have not beaten the team that is the second coming of Christ before.

They are the most over-hyped team in history.....when the win and when they lose, they are all anyone in the media ever talks about.

I want the Spurs to bitch slap the Heat.

I doubt the HEAT make it to the NBA finals. They are going to need James and Wade to score 65-75% of their points from now going forward.
Wade has the body of a 35+ years old man and he relies so much on his explosiveness to make plays. Can Wade recover enough between games? I seriously doubt it.

Exactly. I found it comical when I heard some people pick Indy to win, even when they were up 2-1. There's absolutely zero chance of Miami not winning the East.

The Celtics are a top 3 defensive team, and one of the best coaches in the league, imo I think the Celtics will come out of the east, but who knows the whole east is up for grabs

Funny hearing analysts say what an amazing performance this was for the Heat in a second round game, when Duncan put up 21, 20, 10 and 8 in a closeout game in the finals and people largely didn't notice. Got an idea for a new thread...
