View Full Version : I loved Tim, Tony, and Manu's reactions.

Once the game was over and the Spurs on, the young guys started jumping up off of the bench celebrating and giving high fives. There was absolutely no reaction from Tim, Tony, and Manu. I love that we have these guys leading cause they know what it's all about. Two sweeps in the first 2 rounds mean nothing to them, they have only one thing in mind, and they won't celebrate until they won the 4th game of the Finals.

The young'uns were just happy...they'll learn. To them this is like going to The Final Four for the first time. I'm just glad Pop allowed them plenty of floor time in so many games.

You're right about The Big Three...they deserve one more ring together.

Yup. :tu

Besides, there's no point in celebrating after beating teams you are supposed to beat. Bring on the Thunder or Lakers.

Yeah they know that they have won the battle but they still have a war to win. This is leadership to its finest.

If we could only get the Ginobili of the first 5 games of the season.

At the beginning of the season we were still using the formula of last year and allowing Manu to be the head honcho. It wasn't until after the injury that Pop allowed Tony to take the reins. Tony still has those reins.

Nothing wrong with celebrating. Got to enjoy the small pleasures in life as well.
Let the youngsters have fun.

Maybe after beating OKC in the WCF, we could see some celebration from the Big 3. The way I see it, the one that comes out of the west will win it all (Not impressed with the way the Heat is playing since they rely heavily on Lebron James to have MVP performance every game). So maybe after beating OKC :lol.

With all that money and he can't buy food?:lol haha jk but on a serious note, the big 3 know what it's all about, they are supposed to sweep the jazz and the clippers, the real challenge will be against the thunder. Will the spurs pass the torch to the younger thunder or will we continue to lead the west? We will see.

TP seems to play his best when he has the reigns so I'm fine with him having it and Manu leading the second unit. The formula seems to be working. We just need Ginobili to start stepping up some more.
