wow, this article its hard to believe, taking into consideration that you will never find a spurs player talking like that about the mavs, or any other team, when we have been bounced from the playoffs...i don't even think they care to continue watching on tv...
anyways, very classy of dirk to give respect where its due!
heres the article: http://espn.go.com/blog/dallas/mavericks/post/_/id/4689640/dirk-nowitzki-likes-spurs-heaps-praise-on-pop

Ive always liked Dirk; hes a great player, plays clean and is no dumbass. The only Mav I like and the complete opposite of "gangsta" Terry and "asswipe" Cuban.

One of the Mavs I am a fan of and always will be.

Dirk has always been a classy guy. He needs to retire as a Spur, thus getting 2-3 more rings.

Danny Green and Gary Neal for Dirk?

I would rather hold on to Green and Neal. I'm thinking Blair, Bonner, James Anderson, and Cory Joseph.
It's going to be interesting to see what the mavs do this off season. You have to think they are unloading a lot of garbage this summer and making a big play for Williams, but what happens if they strike out? If I'm dirk I'm loath to do the whole rebuild thing, and frankly that roster as it stands isn't making it far. Williams or bust.

:lmao second banana to Manu
He's played top dog for a good chunk of his career (he still is top dog material) and you're going to let him play second-fiddle alongside a third-best guy on the Spurs roster? :lmao

Lulz. Tbh, there's a good chance DAF was trolling.
However, there's an equally good chance that Ninja wasn't.

I remember in 2008, everyone was on Manu being the best player in the league. That was when the infamous Manu>Dirk all started.

Dirk was the only reason I rooted for the Mavs in the playoffs. He deserved a ring even if Terry also got one.

Him and Jason Kidd are the only guys I liked in Dallas and think that Kidd also deserved a ring.

Good read tbh. Some solid gold homer takes in that thread...and lol at the poll still favoring Manu.

I think Dallas would be salivating through their asshole to make that move :tu
Well, Dirk isn't a great defender, but he rebounds better than Bonner and he can still hit the 3. Seems like a legit upgrade of our backup spot behind Diaw. :tu
