View Full Version : Heat at Pacers game 6

TIMMYtoZO

This is where Indiana's cute little season comes to an end. Miami will impose their championship will on the Pacers more than ever. Mark this down as another easy double digit victory for the Heat.

I think this game will be closer than game five but the Heat will prevail. Heat/Boston in the Eastern Conference Finals with the Heat winning in six.

If Haslem is suspended, we might see a Game 7. If only Shittman is, then no problem. :tu

Seeing the Heat lose game 6 would be awesome. Come on Pacers, step up. I mean at least try to win in front of your fans and not let the Heat celebrate on your homecourt.

Venti Quattro

They need LeBron and Wade to drop 70 again, probably more. And someone has to fill in Udonis Haslem's role when the game is close near the end.

If the Pacers can't win even if Haslem's still not there well, fuck their team. Just feed the ball to West and Hibbert you frickin scrubs.

Bird's Pacers should drop any bullshit tough guy acts, for if they come together as a team they have a chance to extend this one 7 and maybe pull off a big upset, especially considering there's really no one on the Heat team to fill the vacuum should Wade or LeBron struggle. According to Bosh he's healing at a very fast rate (http://www.slamonline.com/online/nba/2012/05/chris-bosh-im-healing-at-a-very-fast-rate/) but hasn't yet resumed basketball activities, which seemingly indicates he won't be around for a possible game 7. Now's your only chance Pacers.

TIMMYtoZO
05-24-2012, 12:43 PM
No Haslem means Juan Howard will get an extra set of minutes. Miami will be ok as long as they stay focused. Indiana just isn't on their level even without Bosh and Haslem.

Pelicans78

They need to feed the ball to West deep in the post instead of out of the paint. But West needs to establish himself in the paint with Battier on him.

They need to keep Hibbert and Hill, offer Nash whatever they have left.

If Hibbert and George can continue to develop, then the Pacers have a shot at improving internally.

Hill played well this season but I'm not sure if there's another level for him to get to.

I don't see them beating OKC/SA without Bosh.

Hard to win 2 on 5, plus not having HCA.

And Shaq, Kenny, Charles all said they don't think he returns, and even if he does, he'll be nowhere close to 100%, and could re-aggrevate it if/when he comes back.

It might be, and a damn good one that Miami has no one to put on him.

Like how he shit on LeBron in OKC earlier in the year?

He won't be 100%, and abdominal strains are a tough injury to come back from. If he plays, yes, only time will tell.

No, those 2 teams in the West can/will stop them, the East is so damn bad, it's not even funny.

It's the Pacers.

Popovich wouldn't let both of them go off, he'd take one away, and double/trap the other.

Even still, both of them have to play near flawless games to beat the Spurs if both made the Finals.

Geez what a pathetic way to go out. With the Heat's big men all but gone they should've attacked the paint and force their bigs into foul trouble. On top of that their ball handling was atrocious, sloppy play in the playoffs isn't championship level basketball. Should've known Pacers being third in the East was fools gold.

Wade isn't dropping 40+ on either OKC or SAS. But even if both drop 40 (unlikely), where are the other 20+ they're going to need to win gonna come from?

And if they both need to average 40 against SAS/OKC, it's not happening... I mean, the East is really bad.

The Heat will be in the finals before whoever comes out of the Spurs-Thunder matchup. Even if Bosh isn't back by the ECF, an extra 4-5 days should pay dividends.

With that said however, an abdominal strain is one of those injuries that may very easily become reaggravated.

With the East being so fucking pathetic this postseason, the Heat should just skip the ECF and be put into the finals. Its amazing how many stars have been injured thus far.

No one said they suck, where is the scoring gonna come from if Bosh is out.

Wade and James aren't gonna average a combined 70 PPG against either SA/OKC. Both have long, athletic defenders to play them decently. Plus are pretty good offensively as well.

And Indiana went away from their inside game where Miami isn't that good with Bosh and Haslem out this game.
