I think Russell Westbrook can be a major liability for the Thunder. He can be a real bonehead, and if you put mental pressure on him he fades. Although he can play a monster individual game, he wilts under the mental pressure of team basketball. We have done very, very well against the Thunder. I predict him losing his composure at least once by game #2.

Spurs going for the sweep. We have the post presence. I want the sweep, but I think the Thunder might win closeout game 4 in OKC, which makes it Spurs in 5.

:lobt2: times five!:flag:

I agree. I LOVE the mentality that the Spurs shared in the post game conference of the sweep of the Paper Clips after a bubble-headed reporter asked Tony on his thoughts on the 18-game win streak

Tony was like: "We don't even talk/think about it. It's ONE GAME AT A TIME."

Pop: "Each game is it's own entity. We don't think beyond that."

Is there a MORE focused team and team effort in the ENTIRE PLAYOFFS?! I was watching the Heat locker room interview and the Drama they've stirred up is the whole 'flagrant foul' situation from the Indiana game! LeBron was more concerned that "That's not what we're about, fouling and injuring people..."

meanwhile the Spurs mentality is JUST DECIMATE YOUR OPPONENT TO THE POINT OF SOUL CRUSHING OBLIVION.

Stephen A said it best:

"THE ONLY way to beat the Spurs is to HOPE that they beat themselves!"

I'm not predicting a SWEEP (as much as I'd LOVE to see it) but the ONLY game that OKC beat us in was when

1) EARLY in the season.
2) Ginobili was out and Parker left the 3rd Quarter with a hand issue.

I DON'T SEE how OKC can beat us 4 times in 7 games.

I JUST DON'T.
