Bush is an over rated scat back while miller has the full package. Why do you think the dolphins never wanted to keep Bush?

lol that an unknown is better than Bush.

Bush wasnt gonna make that much anyways. His new contract only has a 2 million dollar cap hit in 2013 and is only 16 million over 4 years. He probably would of given Miami a better deal, but he even said it himself that he wanted to return to Miami but the Dolphins didnt want him back.
The Dolphins were ready to move on with the future of the franchise which is Lamar Miller at RB.

Cool, then predict Miller's total numbers this year and we'll see if he is better.

Better than Bush. So at least over 1000 yards with better than a 4.3 ypc and more than 6 touchdowns on the ground.

Total yards 1300-1500. Total TDs 8-12 depending on how successful the offense is overall this season.

Couple things...
I feel that you guys are comparing apples and oranges with these respective RBs and WRs. I'm a huge U homer, so I like Miller's prospects--but Bush is better right now b/c of his versatility. Miller is definitely a better pure between-the-tackles runner, but it remains to be seen if he can be a dual threat like Bush. Way too early to say he's better than Reggie.
As far as Marshall and Wallace are concerned, you couldn't possibly find 2 more diametrically opposed WR's. One is a big-bodied freak and the other is a straight speedster. They both are great talents. I prefer Marshall, tbh, but Miami might be alright with Wallace now that they have Keller running the intermediate routes.

Probably the same reason they went into last season thinking Brian Hartline was an adequate #1 receiver.....Jeff Ireland is a fucking moron.

Hybridback that shit, or GTFO.

Lamar Miler is a 215-220 pound back who breaks tackles and has enought juice to get outside. Without question an upgrade over Bush. Bush was a speedster who did no damage to a defense. Miller can hurt a defense. Which plays a big part in the latter stages of a game.

I figured at least you would know who he is. The guy ran a fast 40, especially for his size, and has good vision a long with solid acceleration. Miller is a prototypical 1 cut back. Bush was a solid player in Miami, but he never got used right. Last year Miami forced him to play a style that suits a back like Miller more.

Bush is a get out of trouble runner, great out in space and there is a spot for that talent. Miller is a hit the hole and explode. But...if need be he can turn the corner, which has that D guessing. I 'd want that sort of back over what Bush brings.
Your Dolphins had the best thunder n' lightnin' duo ever, Czonka and Mercury.

My dad still has a few old games on tape from the era of football. Its always some nice stuff to watch when ever there just aint shit on TV.
I would like if Miami would of kept Bush and used him more in the passing game, but its hard to get a guy to except a lesser(to a small extent) role. The way he was used last season just doesnt fit his skill set, but it does fit a back like Miller way more. Miller makes one cut and he is gone while reggie dances to much and doesnt have the power to really go between the tackles with usual success.
There is a reason that Miller is getting buzz and he is projected to have a break out season. He has the tools that nfl scouts love, he would of been a higher pick if it wasnt for a nagging shoulder injury in college.

Best to send Bush packing.
Miller is the total package, will be the best back the Dolphins have had awhile.

I can see it now.....
It's the the 13th week of the season, Brady gets hurt, yep, done for the season. In comes Ryan Mallet, he pulls out the win and wins the following week, the Pats are in the playoffs....again.
In their first playoff game vs the Ravens, Mallet goes down, broken wrist, so in comes.........Tim Tebow. He rallies from 19 down to beat the Ravens next up the Broncos in the AFC title game, Tebow runs for 120 yards and throws two TD passes, the Pats are back in the Superbowl, Tim Tebow will be the starter.
Two minutes to go in the SB, the score Niners 27, Pts 23. Tebow and gang on their own 13. With 12 seconds to go in the game Tebow and company are on the Niners 7 yard line.............................
