Who wins in a series??

I just can't seem to bet against Big Shot Rob and Manu in God mode...

05 team would take em in 5-6 games. Bruce would switch from shutting down '12 TP or '12 Manu.

And 05 Duncan >>>>> 12 duncan

2012 Parker>>>>>>>05 Parker-05 Parker was still in skerred mode
2005 duncan>>>>>2012 Duncan
2005 Manu>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>2012 Manu-big drop off

I hope Manu gets his finals MVP this year

It sure would be nice if the Spurs would choose to forego the handicap from here on out.

It's been nice to see that they can beat teams with Manu shooting 40% from the floor, 25% from the arc, and 78% from the line while turning it over almost 2.5 times per game.

It would be even nicer to see what happens if he shoots better than 50% from the floor, better than 40% from three, and better than 87% from the line while turning it over less than 2 times per game like he did in February, March, and early April.

2005 Manu>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>2012 Manu-big drop off
2005 Bowen>>>2012 Leonard/Green

Bowen was far better on defense, but Leonard/Green definitely let the offense flow better. And 2012 Parker is a tough cover even for 2005 Bowen because he's too quick for Bruce. Bruce doesn't really have an ideal guy to cover in this matchup.

2012 Parker can cover 2005 Parker, and the other 4 2012 players are all above average defenders. But 2005 Duncan is a brutal matchup even for 2012 Duncan, and demands a double team that opens up other offensive options. 2005 Ginobili is a tough cover for any defender, and neither of ours are truly elite.

I love 2012 Diaw, but 2005 Horry brings a ton of intangibles to the table.

I have to think about this some more. Tough call.

Who had better handle at point? Udrih or Neal?

Better comparison might be 2007 vs. 2012, tbh.

05 spurs could play at any pace of the game, the big 3 in their prime, role players at their peak...beno udrih > neal as pg....

I agree with this. 2005 was a monster team compared to this year.

Yeah 2005 team was awesome and stacked, and our big 3 in their prime was huge, Manu in 2005 was just incredible to say the least.

I noticed that their is a misconception of TP in prime in '05. hmm....

Can't compare a championship team to a team that hasn't won anything.
