Yes, he will score but he won't do it efficiently.

Kawhi is very underrated and will hold him to sub-44% shooting.

Book it.

Only time will tell...tomorrow should be a great game looking forward to it.

It is Westbrook that is the key to OKC, Durant gets the pub but Westbrook is the key guy. Luckily for you, Parker will be able to match his offense unlike the horrific effort Ramon Sessions exhibited in the last series.

Kawhi is not underrated in my view. Let's see what Kawhi's got :-) Our rookie going against the scoring champ. I can't wait for that matchup. Do we have Bowen 2.0 on our hands, even better? Gonna be an awesome series.

Leonard is an average defensive player, as is Green..neither of them will hold Durant, tbh..

Spurs win this series with their many advantages and mismatches, but shutting down Durant won't be one of the keys, they'll allow him to get his points..

Durant will get his points, it's not letting him go off for 40-50.

Spurs bench/depth/experience will win them this series.

I believe that is a major key amongst others. I also believe its somewhat important for Kawhi or whoever Durant guards to do good enough offensively to wear Durant out.

IIRC, Kawhi did a pretty good job on Durant in the regular season meetings when matched up. That being said, nobody is going to stop KD from getting his when he's hot. He's to tall, and to good a shooter. The Spurs best bet is to get the ball out of his hands and force Westbrook to beat them, as he is not the shooter KD is.

Coming from the Netherworld, we have LL?

Sup Lanny? Still talking about The Circle of 7 and the fix?

It certainly makes you colorful but on a serious tip...I AGREE WITH YOU ABOUT KAWHI.

Us people who watched him play at Montezuma Mesa know what he can bring athletically. Those plastic man arms and the big Dr. J hands are effective weaponry to use against Durant.

I think Durant still goes for 28 but his FG% goes down. I hope it's just like the days when Bruce would hold Bean to 30 points on 30 shots. Them were the days.

OH and he's a guy I had many battles with at a place called LG. When Kori was living out here in So Cal, she actually went with me to a game so I could get LL a beer I owed him from a bet since his LAL team took down our Spurs in a game but LL never showed up.

Knows the game...but loves talking about bad reffing which up until this season right here must be the reason that the LAL didn't win the title.

im loling hearing "how will spurs defend kevin durant" everywhere

durant averaged 22 points vs the spurs which isnt bad
but for the 3 times scoring champs standard it is
its also his lowest vs any team this reg season

leonard aveaged 14.5 points and i think he was prettyclose to double digit rebound average as well

SA's won 8 of the last 9 with Dick guardin Durant for 35+ minutes
so im not to worried about this matchup

i like how everyone says Kawhi doesn't play like a rookie etc, yet when it comes to guarding Durant, everyone brings up the argument that hes ONLY a rookie. Geez its not like Kawhi has never guarded him before...i mean they did play them 3 times in the season, you would think Kawhi has got an idea of whats he's up against.
