Kobe closed the Golden State Warriors on the road and hit the game winner against the New Jersey Nets (RIP) at home...
Manu just closed the 1st WCF game against the Thunder...
better closer?

About the same maybe a slight edge to Manu because of his playmaking abilities and ability to make a play on defense.
Manu has been the best closer in the game for about 5 years tbh.

Manu hands down and it ain't even close
sons if only Manu had a decent head of hair and played in a market other than shitty ass, poor ass, garbage ass San Antonio then the media would be slobbering all over his knob.

No surprise here Manu has historically been far >> than the over-hyped Bryant in the clutch.

For the LAST TIME - read either of the above, Bryant as the top closer is a TOTAL myth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now Manu? Balls of Steel!

Dear BrHornet45: Sir as the minister of truth = you have spoken there is no debate - see how Henry Abbott and others have DESTROYED the myth of Kobe Bryant as the games best closer rather than the truth he is the pre-eminent chucker of all time (befitting a supposed GOAT candidate with a PER 18th all time)

:wakeup great collection of 4 gifs...
Real talk, prior to this year, there was definitely a strong argument for Manu as the best closer in the game for that five year span.

spurs had a comfortable 10pts lead when there were like 4min left on the board, it was their experience & D that helped then win imho. hard to believe the bald dude is like 34yrs old now and it was honestly an magnificent show by him. OKC's D was piss poor last night and it'd have been a blow-out if tony parker didn't turn the ball over so many times in the 1st quarter

Manu is the better closer with his overall playmaking ability. I think.

You mean the same group of dipshits that built the myth?

When you can find SprFan on a Lakers forum, you might have a point.
I really cant remember the last time Spurs needed to close the game, before today, tbh

Manu of course
Kobe is better than Bellinelli though

Well, Shaq's Kobe of early 2000's was a great finisher, can hit from outside especially dagger 3's, and especially very good making attack to the basket with high 'and 1s or FTs rate. But that Kobe ceased to exist sometime in late 2000's.

Could Kirby travel to Argentina this summer and ask Manu to teach him how to close?

I liked that Kobe
His decision making was much better

One game and people forget that Manu has been injured the last 4 years in the playoffs and was not anything special as a closer.

Kobe was a fantastic closer when teams were leaving him alone to triple team Shaq.
It's sort of like how Yi Jiliang looks great playing against chairs during workouts, only Kobe didn't have to even go against chairs and it was done in a real game.

Before that, he should learn something that won't ever happen: passing the ball
