He always has been and always will be. Dude is the definition of a chucker and the only reason why he beat Reggie's 3 point record is because all he does is shoot 3's. He is the product of George Karl's system in Mil early in his career. He was never a leader. He is horrific on defense. He is lucky to have played in Thibs system with PP and KG to cover his porous defense early in his boston tenure.

allen doesn't care much about D, he can shut down certain players one on one (e.g. kobe bryant) when he likes but most times he has no interest playing defense

Ray is not overrated as of now, imo. He's just another guy. But before yeah, I agree he was.

He's playing on one healthy ankle, he's even missing FT's where he is pretty much money.
