Tim had that great dunk and was great on D, but I'm glad everyone else hit their shots. Other seasons it's hard to survive Tim hitting 2/11 from the field...

Seeing Timmy post up a guy and shoot with his inside hand is frustrating as fuck tbh. Hes playing great in every other facet though so not too big of an issue for me.

Yeah, those bigs are giving Timmy some issues this series. Parker and Gino have to carry the load.

Poor/Mediocre offensive performance, although he did get to the line, but overall, he played well. 12 boards, 6 dimes, and 4 blocks, while setting great screens all game.

Tim was off tonight. His handles were bad, he bobbled more than half the passes, turned the ball over a lot, but he stuck with it. Tim always sticks with it and he's always a factor.

There lies one major difference between the Spurs and Lakers. At his age, Kobe should be playing no more than 32 mpg - tops. We can't afford to sit him, whereas the Spurs can and often did sit Duncan (DNP-OLD is still funny :lol). Kobe still did his thang in these playoffs, but at what cost? MB running him into the ground will take a toll on him sooner or later. In the playoffs when he didn't have it, who could step up in his place - lemme guess - a Sessions/Blake backcourt? :lol

How much would it cost Dr. Buss to bring Pop to So Cal? He'd have a a budding superstar center to work with the next 10+ years tbh - should be enticing. Simply put, the Lakers are in the Finals this year with Pop on the sideline instead of Mike Clown.

He didn't shoot well intentionally. If he had, it just would have been another complete embarrassment for the Thunder. #TOO CLASSY 4 U

Honestly would Kobes ego allow him to play 32 mpg and share some of the touches with Bynum and Gasol/whoever is there next season? We all know Kobe wants to get his and has his eyes set on scoring records.

Choking away two games and shooting .426 for the series is "doing his thang?"

Kobe was pretty awful against the Thunder, despite the nice PPG (most overrated stat in basketball aside from APG).

Kobe has the same problem Westbrook has; he values spotlight over wins. There's no point in winning it all if you personally are not credited as the reason. Better to score a shit load of points and get regular season credit, and let your coach and teammates catch shit in the post season because you score so much.

MJ was known for scoring. So was Wilt. To a lesser degree, players like Bird, KAJ, Dominique. Are these players overrated?

Stats. Stats are overrated. Case in point: LeHype has many stat lines that are better than Kobe's. In the end, did it really matter? (5 > 0) Try harder faggot. :tu

Why are you even inserting MJ, Wilt and Bird in this conversation? Those guys were proven leaders and winners.

We're talking Kobe here... that should read "Iverson, T-Mac and Joe Johnson were known for scoring. Are these players overrated?"

And yeah, they were to an extent, and none of those got the media focus Bean did...

That's what is so scary about SA...

One of their Big 3 can have a not so good game, and they can still win. Same can't be said if it happened to Miami or OKC.

Just a really, really good team.

I'm putting those legends in the conversation because only MJ and KAJ have more rings than Kobe. Kobe? More rings than Wilt and Bird. :lol And :lol at Wilt being a proven leader and winner. :lol Russell says hi! :lol

The others are lesser players by default.

As dominant as Wilt was, he didn't have the side tools that Russell had. The Jones boys, Cousy, Nelson and Hondo. Wilt was the main but the only time I've seen one guy beat 6 or 7 good guys was in Bruce Lee flicks ......

Horry and Kerr have more rings than Kobe and neither are part of this conversation either, they simply choose wisely who they were going to coattail...

... which, coincidentally, describes Kobe's career pretty well, tbh :lol
