I also like Monty Williams, the way he handled the season with shitty Gordon always being injured.

Larry Drew, Byron Scott, Mark Jackson, Lionel Hollins, Monty Williams, Mike Woodson, Nate McMillan and Ty Corbin are all virtually the same coach..they're all "motivational" coaches with limited x's and o's..

Avery Johnson, Mike Brown and Dwayne Casey are solid defensive coaches..

Doc Rivers is difficult to read..

Gentry seems like a competent Black coach, a rarity..

Nate McMillan? :rollin

Blazers fans are rolling over in their grave.

Right now, Doc Rivers and Byron Scott might be the best black coaches. I think Scott is pretty underrated tbh.

mike brown is in fact a terrible coach and i'd never put him anywhere close to the word "great", and the most he does is bring a talented team into mediocrity

Let's be honest, even though he isn't coaching Riley has more "black" and swag than any of those nigs. tbh

:lmao seriously? You're criticizing Gentry for the fact he has Nash? Gentry has one of the shittiest most untalented rosters in the NBA and squeezed a .500 season out of it. There are maybe 4 other coaches who would be capable of making the 2012 Suns a .500 team.

I'd go

1) Gentry
2) Doc Rivers
3) Every other black coach. As harlem said, they're all virtually the same. Horrible X's and O's, but decent motivators because of their African battle cries during timeouts.

Harlem, you're wrong about Monty. He's a very good defensive coach. His offense is a work in progress.

He coached next to Pop so through induction he's better than most.

How about Del Negro?

Are any of the black coaches mentioned other than Gentry capable of even sniffing .500 with this Suns team? I doubt it. Doc Rivers was a shit coach before the big 3 came along.

Gentry looks too much like Stymie.
