Also would like it if NJ got a top 3 pick, so that their deadline day trade doesn't look that bad.

I totally agree. I'm sick of Hornets fans thinking this guy will be an elite PF. He's no different than Paul Millsap. High energy guy, shoots jumpers, too small to post up and won't be able to defend in the post. Its a joke how he's a top 5 prospect. Honestly, if Sullinger can stay healthy, he will have a better career than Robinson.

Didn't mean Millsap. That was more at Robinson who will have to rely on facing up defenders and either settling for a jumpshot or driving to the basket.

Idk, all I know is they're trying to move up once again, and Toronto really wants Lowry. Plus Gasol has like 3 or 4 good years left, we need to set up some sort of long term solution. Right now, they're hoping the Nets don't get a top pick so Dwight to NJ won't even be an option.

That seems like a weak deal unless there's a guy you really like at #8 -- trade away a starting quality point guard and a late lottery pick for a mid-lottery pick. If I'm Toronto, I take that deal in 2.4 seconds.

there ain't much difference between the top3, or maybe even top 10 picks imho. it ain't like the past 4-5 years where you got only 1 or 2 guys outstanding and most of the rest being average talents tbh. the pool is pretty stacked this year and even a top10 pick would possibly bring u a future worldclass player, the most stacked NBA draft since 03 imho

This is spot on. As untalented and banged up as the team was, I still didn't mind sitting through the games because they played hard every night and never intentionally tanked. For that reason, they deserved the #1 pick.

LOL, DPG missing the point. I get he did help keep costs down but now of course it appears he jew-rigged this draft, to plenty of media and NBA fans. So I agree nice job and congrats, to the Hornets, Spirit. I again just stress I HATE Aminu. You saw Bledsoe play against the Spurs ... he is a BETTER player and the Hornets reportedly wanted him. Great move turning down Lakers/Hornets deal ... but why do you take a sorry asset like Aminu when Bledsoe could of been had and would of helped with the tank job since he was injured?

I cant be wrong here, it's my opinion. I know your condescending ass wants a victory but Tonight I am NOT your huckleberry. IF Aminu ends up better than Bledsoe someday I will come on here and bow down to you ...if not my point still stands.

Read the thread dumbass. I said stupid Stern, because he has wilbon and simmons two of the most prominent NBA scribes bringin up conspiracy on a prominent night for his league.

You are right, Stern made a great business decision, no doubt. But his reputation took a hit whether you want to get off your fucking high horse and admit it or not.

I know it's your weak ass style lately to just say that doesnt make sense, or to call people names, but if you took the time to ask questions or read ... an intelligent guy like yourself should of figured some shit out. The bledsoe vs. Aminu is my personl opinion because I hate Aminu and his game. Admitted this on here plenty of times.

Stern hurt his rep with the lockout, the fiasco afterwards and now there is even story that Fisher was playing double agent for him. If you cant figure how that stains Stern's rep ...then just stick with your "i just talk basketball "
:lol.

Oh let's also throw in the airbrushing of Iverson's tatoos, the dress code and the pussifying of the game with the techs instead of dealing with flopping.

Is that enough for you? :wakeup

Like I said that is a personal beef which I admit I am biased on. I love the way Bledsoe plays and Hate Aminu ... cant stress that enough. I was hearing Hornets liked him (Bledsoe)and thought smart move. A really good trade for the Hornets ... still I did not say it wasnt. What I maintained ALL year was they should of asked for more. Minny pick ended up 10. Aminu sucks. Kaman may stay but he is not that good and Gordon was hurt and may leave. I stand by my argument. Lakers trade was worse I agree. Kaman sucks. They need to let him go. He's was brought in just to match salaries for the trade.

Aminu is terrible offensively, solid defensively, but that's not a reason to turn down the trade and they wouldn't have been able to get a better trade to make them a long-term playoff team. Even Denver and Utah are stuck in lower seed purgatory which won't help them contend unless they make more moves. The NBA rewards being very good and very bad.
