Check out the video.

At the 1:20 mark they say that OKC is going to 'wrap them up' to slow them down by using physical tactics right from the beginning of the game.

It might just work if we don't hit our free throws.

"Getting tough" is just part of the script for teams on their way to getting swept.

Down 0-1 = "We just need to improve on some things"
Down 0-2 = "We need to get tough"
Down 0-3 = "We've just got to try to win one game"
Swept 0-4 = "It was a great learning experience for us"

So they are gonna threaten Parker?

I'm pretty sure the Spurs have never seen any tactics like that.

The Spurs have been very physical with them so far this series. I'm sure they can up it a notch if OKC wants to go that route.

"We're gonna have to get more physical, put some hard fouls on him" - Devin Harris in round one on the way to getting swept.

"We just have to play physical, play a little rough" - Blake Griffin in round 2 on the way to being swept.

Seems the Spurs don't mind it so much. Right on cue if you ask me.

Get physical? Tony Parker and Manu can handle that but I'm not sure Durant would like that very much. Russel Westbrook looks pretty tough though.

Send Jack, Blair, and Anderson out there and tell the last two their only role is to foul and foul hard. One butt thrust from Blair and even Perkins will watch his back. Green also has an edge about him, bring it on!

So true as is the usual lame thing that the Spurs just took care of business when the Thunder have not been on the same planet with the Spurs head to head for 2 years +

The VERY last two frontcourt duo in the NBA I'd want to screw with in a scrum is Perkins and Ibaka. Ibaka is about as bad ass as they get when he gets pissed. But we all know it never comes to that. They're all protected by the refs.

See, the problem with the statement that the Spurs just did what they were supposed to do is that it conflicts with the next cliche: "A series doesn't start until someone wins on the road."

See, if the Spurs win Game 3, then the series is over before it started.
