Amazing that a Thunder fan would be so gracious. Your time will come, you are such a young team.
Spurs fans should be extremely grateful, all NBA teams have worked really hard and made tremendous sacrifices. After all, we are here not only because of our hard work and sacrifices, but we have been extremely fortunate injury-wise in these playoffs. Ironically, it was likely Ginobili's injuries throughout this season that charted our path.

Cheers dude, it has been fun so far discussing the games with you all. This is a great board and I will stick around even after the series.
I know our time will come our best players are all in the age 22-24 range this team has a great future and keep growing as a team and keeping adding depth.
This year just seems like the spurs year. Confident we can do the business at home but highly doubt we can win the series now.

Do we really need to have a post started about a fan who has given up on his team's chances after 2 games? Do we not remember being up on the lakers 2-0 in 2004? This thing hasn't even started yet, how can it be over? The thunder's time is NOW... And will be NOW until we rip their still beating heart out of their chest.
You go ahead and like the guy for saying things that a homer can agree with. He's nice. But stop with the knob slobbering.

I havnt given up just don't think it's likely we win the series. I'm confident we can win at home coming up but winning 4 out of 5 is a tall order.

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I'm starting to miss the Laker trolls... this lovey dovey bullshit is nauseating. I much rather have it out with a douche troll than to hold hands, sing kumbayah and pretend we're all too classy to talk shit...

It is said that a playoff series starts when a home team loses. Let's realize that so far we've won the games we were supposed to win. Remember what the clippers did to us to start game 3. I wouldn't expect the same comeback magic against okc

Couldn't say it better. LOL @ people writing the Thunder's epitaph. It's like people forgot how fucking hard those two games were.

We love having quality posters from other teams around here. Sure, we're a Spurs board, but we like to be broad also and represent multiple teams well. It's always nice to have the resident expert around whenever a series like this comes up - or even just a regular season game.
Stick around, you're the kind of poster we like to have around here.

this team is no 04 lakers. the series has started and is halfway from being over. the thunders time is when they realize to win in the nba you need an inside presence, a 6'11'' jumpshooter is just a jumpshooter.

Winning 4 out of 5 sounds impossible.
But winning one game isn't impossible, especially at home. That's how it starts -- you just have to win one game. Game 3 at home in front of your own crowd where your players feel more comfortable.
After that, if you can win it, you just have to win one more. Even up the series. Build on your confidence at home. One more game doesn't sound so impossible, because you already won one. Just tie up the series, win one you're supposed to win at home.
If you get that one, you're on a 2-game winning streak. You have the momentum. You're feeling good, hitting your shots, getting stops. The other team doesn't seem so scary anymore. All you have to do then is win a single away game, and you're ahead in the series, with a chance to close out at home.
Win that one, and you've won 3 in a row, and you're back at home where you're undefeated. You have all the momentum. All you have to do is put it away.
That's why you never call a series after 2 games, and that's why you never relax when you have a 2-0 series lead. As Spurs fans about '04. Ask Mavs fans about the '06 Finals.

Good post and all true
Maybe I'm just expecting less and if we turn it around it will be more a surprise and far bigger joy.

Yeah, they're not the 04 Lakers; I wouldn't expect this Thunder team to roll over like bitches to Detroit.
