Android vs. IOs UI smoothness

Don't get it wrong. Apple still sucks as an overall company. but damn, been playing with latest ipad and the smoothness/fluidity of the UI is fucking sexy!! (dammit, shut your dirty mouth hater, Apple sucks, remember that)

So after doing some investigation I see some ppl say the smoothness from IOs is because it gives priority to UI process, which means, everything else pauses. On the other hand Android is more set to multitask so that is why sometimes UI is laggy or choppy but everything else flies.

So what do you guys prefer? smoother UI or faster everything else?

Windows 8 better come with a balance to trump both those shitty OSs

I have the iPad 2 and it's really smooth

But I need money so I'm gonna have to return it :D

probably more a result of being able to code for relatively few models, with Android you probably can't test but 1/4 of popular hardware configs.
