seriously guys, it was ONE game....Spurs arent gonna play perfect every single game. "we gotta bench this guy" "we gotta bench that guy" "are they too old" "are they tired" shut up already... Why does everybody praise them when they whip on someone but go straight to doubting them after a loss...

You will soon learn that any time the Spurs lose a game, it's pretty close to unbearable. You'd think there was a big ass cliff that everyone was lining up to jump off. You'd think we were....the Bobcats or something.

LOL, welcome to the forum. Wait until after the game tomorrow. If the Spurs win they're going to be the 96 Bulls reincarnated and if OKC holds serve you'll see a million references to the 04 series with LA.

04 really fucked with the fans' heads, anytime they are up 2-0, some of the fans are still scared. there were a bunch of downer threads when the team was up 2-0

me, im a optimist i still say spurs in 4

The greatest coach in NBA history was on the other bench in '04. But the losses the past few seasons to the Grizzlies and Suns haven't helped.

Wednesday, May 30th: It's almost certain the Thunder will win game 3 at home, it's alright we got this

Thursday, May 31st: we're done. Thunder too good. we look lost. we're out of gas. it'll be impossible to win two more games.

I remember when we got down 24 to the clippers some on here said the series was over. It gets crazy it's just passion for the team I guess. We must stay positive we will win!

It got really bad in the NBA Finals in '05. Spurs blew out Detroit in games 1&2, then I games 3&4, the Pistons blew the doors off SA. Stuff happens.

Either some fans forget or they don't put these things into the proper perspective. Winning championships is not supposed to be easy. Everyone remembers Jordan being the GOAT and dominating to the tune of 6 rings. Well do they recall the 7 game series he had with the likes of the Knicks and Pacers along the way? Bulls/Pacers right down to the wire in game 7 in 1998 in Chicago. Spurs in 2005 blew out the Sonics in SA to get up 2-0 then laid 2 eggs in Seattle needing to win game 5 in SA and 6 back in Seattle.. 2005 after winning a thrilling OT in Detroit game 5 they blow game 6 in SA and need a 7th game to win the :lobt:.. This shit isn't easy folks, in fact it is supposed to be hard. Spurs may lose tonight so they have to man up for game 5 in SA.

Just believe and keep cheering...

That loss totally exposed the team as frauds who have no hope of guarding big men in the post. We were doomed, really. And Pop should have been fired for playing Bonner and Blair instead of starting Tiago next to Tim.

These are day traders. They watch every move and buy or sell based on it. The long term guys here just watch trends and know they will average.

The big men rotation completely changed since that game so the coaching staff pretty much agreed with Spurstalk on that one.

I definitely had some laughs on the game thread Thursday night. Fans were freaking out, and I kept saying to relax. Also, Spurs fan, it is actually OK to give credit to the opposing team, OKC did play hard and deserved that win. I'm still very very confident the Spurs make the Finals, but it was a little frustrating just to see a lack of effort from the Spurs. They've been flirting with losing for a while, and it finally happened, maybe it's a good thing. The only thing I will agree with on those who freak out, is Bonner just can't play anymore. I've never liked him in the playoffs, but last night after Sefolosha outfought him for a 50/50 ball on a rebound, I was done. I was also mad at Splitter last night when Ginobili was on the ground fighting for the ball and Splitter just stood and watched. I'm sure the big three will make sure the "other guys" play a lot harder tonight. Spurs got game 4, GO SPURS GO!
