I'm probably going to be blasted for saying this but this Spurs team is not a team with championship experience. It's been FIVE years since their last taste of glory and they haven't been close since. And it shows. This team is not playing to their full potential, and the crowd is getting to them.

It was just too big a deficit to overcome. Everything going their way and we made too many mistakes in this quarter to successfully complete a comeback. Kawhi not making good on that forced turnover to start the quarter just signaled to me, it just wasn't meant to be. But at least Pop finally realizes how important Blair is to the team.

Durant will have games like this if we don't have our best defender on him - which we did until the 4th quarter. That's when they switched Jax off him, in order to shut down the freakishly hot Ibaka. I think that was actually Pop's mistake - he lost faith in the fact that Ibaka is a scrub who can't hit like that all night, and that opened Durant up.
Still, even if the Spurs lose this, they go home, where the refs should be more friendly, and still have a chance to close this out in 6 or 7 games. I didn't think this series would take less than that anyway.

Seriously the fire came too late, we needed more rebounds and actually making shots with the put backs, some better defense, better scoring off the transition, and of course better ball movement and hitting the paint hard. Don't worry though Durant was on fire which hasn't been the case...he just had a good game tonight and Ibaka getting away with some goal tending in my eyes but I'm not gonna blame the refs or jump off....all it is...is a start of a new series! His in-game adjustments have been atrocious. Not sure how you let Durant score on that many consecutive possessions in the clutch without doubling as soon as he touches the ball. At least force him to pass it. Harden hit a three yeah but by that time it was all but over. Also wasn't off an immediate double.

When we won our tittles TD was a top5 player in the league and the best player in the series we played. Even in 2007 he still being dominant in the playoffs.
Actually we are a better team but even with Tony being 5th at MVP we don't have that kind of superstar like Durant or Duncan/Manu in the past. None is the guy who takes over every game. Everybody has to step up.
This run is gonna be different but we can win again. We did a pretty good job. These 2 losses hurt but we are tied.

Well, I'm not underrating the Thunder by any means, but Spurs shouldn't feel pressure after that. They should be disappointed in themselves, but not giving up like some of the faggots on here. Seriously, grow some balls.
- I understood why Pop put Neal on Harden. When Danny Green isn't hitting shit, you know Neal can. You just risk giving up defense. Did you want Pop to go with Anderson instead?
- Ibaka and Perkins had the games of their lives and we still kept it close. It's a grey thing to point out, but it's true.
- Blair earned playing time for the rest of the series. Bonner is a lost cause like always. I don't give a shit about him.
- Duncan, Parker, and Manu better the wake the fuck up.
