View Full Version : Another Blessing in Disguise in Game 4

Game 4 was also a blessing in disguise. The Spurs will be so pumped for game 5.

The Pros: Everyone on the Thunder team hit shots all night but the Spurs were still in the game late

Cons: we lost anyhow, Bonner again, Tiago again, Duncan air balls at 3' and missing wide open layups and FTs. Lots of other shit including Manu in Christmas mode (giving balls away).

2 in a row. We are truly blessed.

God says Thunder just did what they were supposed to do, defend their court just like the Spurs did. Until a team wins on the road the series hasn't begun, then he giggled. I have no idea about the giggle.

tbh, spurs seriously needed a wakeup call before the finals. they aren't good enough to just pulverize through the finals like the lakers in 2001. this team needs to experience losing, desperation, and humiliation. if they can climb back up, they will win the championship. if they stay down, this will be the end of their run.

Sjax needs to start for Diaw and Bonner's and Splitter's minutes need to go to Blair.

For sure. Game 5 is gonna be awesome. A game from everybody. This game was closer than the score shows. We competed our asses off and if it weren't for the refs obvious home cooking and Ibaka going crazy, it would have been OKC by one or two points.

Westbrook shot like shit and Harden wasn't a huge factor aside from the clutch three.

People are going to overeact to this big time it's not the end of the world but some people on this board will act that way. At the end of the day the spurs fought back and had the chance to win in OKC they didn't but game 5 is still in SA which the spurs will be ready to take not going to be easy but I believe they can get the job done at home.

This is how a good series goes. We're getting the game from the Thunder we thought we might get from the Clippers and might have had they not been injured.

We are near the top of our potential with our team. Thunder are playing great team ball right now, and they are much more athletic and better shooters. Our luck is running out with these over-achieving bench guys, and we need our stars to play like stars, but they aren't. we'll see about game 5.

No more Bonner!!!!

The danger here is that Durant and Westbrook aren't taking a lot of shots. That makes them borderline unstoppable. A good team can stop a couple great players, but when the team moves the ball and you have that many people who can shoot the ball, no one is going to beat them, certainly not the Heat.

I just hope we don't get another two blessings in disguise in game 5 and 6.

The blessing is the Thunder will at least keep Lebron from winning a title, which is always a good thing.

the 4th quarter was what was supposed to be happening the whole game
the guards take the bigs off the dribble

the myth would be SA didnt get to the paint and settled for 3s
but when they did get in their okcs bigs would push/hack/goaltend and SA wouldnt get the calls then they became passive
they also missed the open 3s they were getting
it looks like stern wants this to go 7
you saw his huge shit eating grin

im confident SAs role players will hit their shots and okcs wont go perfect on the road

How many times has this happened with the Spurs. They go up 2 they lose two on the road. Only once did a team of all stars backdoor sweep them. We will still win the series, even if it goes 7.

The con to me is the fact that the pressure has shifted, and we now have a must win on our hands Monday night. If the Spurs play desperate as OKC did in Game 3, this could be an advantage, but if Jackson and Leonard are the only players holding us down, things dont look good.

Bonner never played any real minutes in the past WCF series. Not the same thing as now.

The hacks aint goin anywhere near 22-25 from the field Monday.

Westbrook will need to shoot alot more. If not, he'll go into convultions at mid court.

Ya'll need to chill. They can't play defense in SA like they did in OKC, they are bumping the dribbler off of all screens. It it a foul when they do that and it will get called here.

Much better game in this one. They are good. Might go seven. So? I'll put our guys (minus Ginger) up against theirs in our gym.

Let's see how the hacks showup in THAT game.
