1-10 how worried are you?

I'm at a 6.5. Yes spurs are at home next game but not liking this recent spurs team. Yes ibaka is a lucky scrub, but 2 decent games in a row is a little concerning. Open shots everywhere, barely any penetration, soft interior defense. Big 3 need to step it the fuck up.

8/10 over officiating.

3/10 over Thunder's efforts and skills.

I was worried about how the officiating would be before the series even started. Now that it's confirmed that the outcomes are being artificially altered by bogus officiating, I'm not going to rule out the possibility the NBA will fix the entire series for OKC to advance now instead of just fixing the series to be a 7 gamer to set up OKC hype for their championship run next season.

I still don't think OKC is good enough to beat the Spurs 4/7 when officiating is actually fair and called down the middle. They've done nothing to prove that they can win without being allowed to get away with violations when up or being gifted FTAs to artificially create runs when down.

I'm not too worried about the series. Two very good teams, each holding serve and the spurs have home court.

I'm not at all worried about Bonner sucking balls again in the post season, it's come to be expected.

Only thing that really worries me is Danny Green's vanishing act this series. If he's not going to perform spurs may be in real trouble.

4/10 overall. Spurs are still the better team and should prevail at home.
They will need to overcome:

6/10 Tony Parkers decision making. Forces when he shouldn't, and now is so messed up he's passing when he could and should shoot.

6.5/10 CIA Poop. The Bonner love is so old and overdone, threatens another Championship yet these two jackasses continue to push their gay agenda. Simply the best thing a Spurs playoff opponent could see. Blairs been the OKC killer but doesn't get any meaningful run until the 3rd qtr of Game 4. Yeah that is genius. Scott Brooks, who seems to be very truthful in his interviews, tells Sager that he hoped Pop will not play Dejaun Blair. :downspin:

8/10 refs
GNobs drive to the hoop would have completed the momentum swing and really energized the Spurs/deflated the Oakies. Bullcrap charge call awarded to slide stepping Collision. To boot, Manu was fouled by Sefelosha on the way to the hoop.
The bullshit goaltends, Durants Kobmelike pampering....
Yeah they could swing a close game easily. If they rig a Game 5 and turn a win into a loss that could be it.

After game 3, I was about a four. After game 4, I'm about a 2. The Spurs are in a dog fight and they're playing bad. A little home cooking should help. All they have to do is hold serve for the rest of the playoffs and they'll win.

8..

Tony is vanishing from the series in a hurry. He went from the best player on the floor in game 2 to being a non factor the last 2 games...

OKC is deadly offensively.. We knew that going in but sometimes i feel like this team can't miss..

Spurs have not played well since the adjustements were made late in game 2...

Yes i'm worried...

Spurs need to bring the edge and intensity for 96 minutes to close this series out. I think they can do that over the next three games.

I think they will get it done but game 5 is gonna be a bitch. Thunder went from reeling to rolling.. They know they can beat the Spurs now.. You can't expect some of their roll players to play lights out in SA but if Tony does not find his game and our depth does not make the difference

It's over..

Plus Blair has gotten back into the rotation. And ideally Bonner back in the doghouse.

It's not a series until a team loses at home.

They have to dig deep big time against this team. I think OKC will curb stomp the Heat in the NBA finals.. Like in 5 games..

Spurs are in for the biggest test they have had in years next 3 games..

RuffnReadyOzStyle

5.5.

OKC were superb today, as they were in game 3, and if they keep playing at that level we're in trouble. On the flipside, Ibaka+Perkins+Collison hitting 22/25 is INSANE, as was Durant's 4th Q. With those kind of freak performances we should've lost by 25+ today but were in it until near the end.

The Spurs are an awesome basketball team. OKC is an awesome basketball team and they currently have the momentum. Everything comes down to game 5 - win that, we win the series, lose it and OKC win in 6, but we were beaten by a team that got hot at just the right time.

Save for game 2, we're constantly behind and playing catch up. IMO, that's beginning to wear on the Spurs.

Either the tide turns in game 5 or the Spurs collapse ala 2004. If we fall behind 10+ points as we've done in damn near every game, it's all over.
The horrifying potential of another back-door sweep is very real.

Well, it wouldn't have been the first time the Spurs have exposed themselves as a team not quite worthy of their record would it?
As a matter of fact, judging from recent history, that's a more likely scenario.
Hoped this year would be different. We'll see.

2.5 (up from 0.5 yesterday)

I'm still confident that the Spurs win this series in 6. It's unfortunate to know that OKC can throw our team out of their offensive rhythm. But I fully expect them to get it back in game 5. In a game 6 close-out, our team is too good to let it get away.

1. Only thing worrying me is danny greens play. Thunder role players will come back reality at the AT&T center & the goaltends, charges, & over the back fouls will magically be called again in game 5.

I'm new to this forum, but have followed it the whole year.

My worry meter is at about a 6. I know our big 3 can play better tbh. Its the shifts in pace that are hurting the spurs. They haven't been able to get in a rhythm in games 3 and 4.
Game 5, the Spurs NEED to be the ones to dictate the pace of the game. I know game 4 was fairly close at the end, but the spurs played terrible for 3.5 quarters. You can't expect to win a game against Oklahoma playing like that. Also, our interior defense needs to be better. The Thunder have been beating us at our own game in games 3 and 4. Their is no reason they should have more assists than us.

Game 5 is ours. Set the pace early and please keep it. Try to minimize giving the Thunder anymore confidence than they already have. GO SPURS GO!

5. Normally HCA in Game 5 would be no sweat, but I'm concerned about Pop stubbornly sticking with Matt Bonner. When that guy steps on the floor the wheels come off and it's like the entire team becomes cursed. Bonner has no business getting playoff minutes with any team. So I'm worried Gregg might cost us one if he plays Bonner.

Other than that, tomorrow we find out if the Spurs are for real or not. They are healthy and there are no excuses. If they lose tomorrow I'll tip my hat to OKC and Harden's unhygienic beard.

I'm at a 5. One thing is certain, no way OKC's role players (namely Ibaka, Perkins, and Collison) play that well in San Antonio. And our role players (Green, Splitter, Bonner, Blair) should feel a hell of alot better at home. I'm not worried about the Big 3, Kawhi, Jack, and Neal because I know they'll bring it....

I'm at a solid 8. OKC is a good team but the real problem is that the Spurs have just played badly (at the very least not up to their capability) the last two games. They have to right the ship tomorrow. Going back to OKC down 3-2 on an elimination game with all those screaming freaks in their gay blue t-shirts will be a huge hill to climb back up. I'm just glad this series is 2-2-1-1-1 and not 2-3-2 like the finals. Spurs need to come home to their home court and get their shit back together.
