Kori Ellis

I think she was due a few days ago.

hm, someone on Spursreport mentioned it and said that her friend knew about it and sworethat it was true. If that's the case, I don't even know what to think...

I doubt it's true. It's just a rumor that would spread easily right now because everyone is talking Spurs.

Tim Jr. can wait.

But timvp, isn't it supposed to be a girl?

Shelly
06-23-2005, 03:25 PM
I've heard girl also.

Kori Ellis
06-23-2005, 03:26 PM
I have heard girl, boy, and twins.

The Duncans haven't talked about it, so it's all hearsay.

I would think so too.. but I can't even imagine the city of San Antonio if he can't play. What bad/good luck, all at the same time.

Oh crap, Amy is in labor and is at the medical center right now with Tim.

It say that Tim will be at the game though, even if she is still in labor.

thank goodness.

Is she does go into labor, Tim is still playing. He's going to war tonight and I'm sure his wife and he, himself, will understand its importance, no disrespect whatsoever to childbirth. After the game he can take a helicopter to the hospital.

Maybe if the baby would of been born already if would of given Duncan even more reason to play tonight. Since he knows that lil' Timmy would be watching.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

We've been questioning where his head is for the past couple of games, I don't even know what's going to happen tonight. Perhep its a sign of good luck, I don't know....

I still believe. Maybe it will take his ind off being nerveous about the game, and thus the game will just come to him.

I hate to say it but the priority would have to be with playing the game. He is paid way too much money and the Spurs owners would have his head.

He would be traded to Toronto tomorrow if he didnt play tonight.

Pistons, there has already been a big acrimonious discussion of this, and to summarize, there are a whole lot of folks here who disagree with you, and the organization would likely disagree with you, as well. Not to start a new discussion, and hopefully things remain irrelevant.

It is probably the best thing that could happen for Tim's game, if true.

Something to keep him from fretting about the game before it starts.

my husband would die if he missed this birth, he was there holding my legs back last year for our 1st and he said it was the coolest thign he's ever seen. (i thought he's fuckin weird)
So it would for sure be super super sad for Tim to miss out on the birth of his 1st.

BUT - If Tim Duncan were my husband I'd tell him to get his ass to the SBC!!

The game is like 4 or 5 hours max. and hardly anyone pops out their kid minuetes after they go into labour. Avg. labour for 1st time mommies is 12-15 hours.

I think Timmy's wife was at the game on Tuesday...and she sure didn't look like she was about to give birth. She looked like she was MAYBE 6 or 7 months pregnant.

Maybe it wasn't her...but mom was sure it was. She was sitting with Tims family (saw Tims brother...not sure if the others were sisters since I've never seen them before)

Not everyone carries the same way - my coworker is 8 months along and doesn't look more than 5, but her doctor says the baby's pretty big.

the rule of thumb is generally two weeks early or two weeks late. they induce only if there is not enough fluid to sustain the baby, or if there is no more room for it to grow. my fiancee only gained 25-30 pounds during her pregnancy, and didn't really show much until the last month or two. i would tell tim to be there, there is nothing like seeing your baby's head crown and delivery. this is not the day and age where the husband is outside the room with a cigar either. i was holding back her legs with the doctor.
