I hope there isn't a single person remaining that will complain about biased officiating in favor of the Heat..the haters will continue to illogically hate, but it's evident that Miami has been killed by the refs..

Lebron fouling out was the worst call I've ever seen against a superstar..

Garnett's constant handchecking and illegal screens, 27th FTAs team in the NBA getting to the line at the same rate as the Heat, Miami getting mugged with no calls..

Hopefully it begins to even out..outside of game 1 vs. New York, the Heat haven't received any favorable officiating..

It's bad enough they're playing against a team that should have been eliminated in round 1..

Son, they just evened it out tonight. Still bitching about that foul... :lol no mention of that non-call on Wade in G2 OT though :lmao

Hey, what about that busted play at end of regulation? Whose fault was that? Or did Bostkn just defend that too well.

Yeah, cuz Game 2 wasn't HEAVILY in Miami's favor.

What was it, 50-29 Miami in FT's?

It wasn't even that bad, maybe Boston got more calls, but it wasn't by a whole lot.

I think it was 30 fouls on Mia, 28 on Bos, 24 FT's for Mia, 20 for Bos, rigged?!?!

Anyways, there's a good breakdown of the series officiating on the RealGm Heat forum, where most Heat fans have had a meltdown due to the poor officiating, and rightfully so..

If Miami received the officiating that the Celtics have received in the last 2 games, there would be an Internet meltdown of historic proportions..shit, there have been meltdowns on ST regarding Heat officiating, even if they receive just 1 or 2 favorable calls:lol..

:lol Laker fans and Laker legends, including Magic Johnson's diseased fat ass, cheering for the Celtics so Miami loses..I've never seen a stronger hatred for a team..

HarlemHeat37
06-04-2012, 02:40 AM
Why should Boston be up 3-1? :lol..

The Celtics have received the officiating bias in the last 2 games, and game 2 was equal, with Miami's disparity negated by the fact that the 27th ranked team in FTAs went to the line 30 times..

If we're playing the "what if" game, Boston should have been eliminated in the 1st round..the NBA admitted they made the wrong call which allowed Boston to advance..technically, the NBA had admitted their bias towards the Celtics..

Miami should have a significant FT disparity in every game, they have 2 of the best free throw drawers in the NBA, while the Celtics don't even have one player that draws fouls on a consistent basis..

Lebron's last 3 fouls were atrocious calls..every subjective call went Boston's way..

Again, the difference is that the majority of NBA fans hate the Heat, they act like the 3 Kings Gary Neal'd their mothers, making their bias evident..I have yet to see anybody provide any proof for Miami receiving favorable officiating, at any point this season, while I've provided many instances of Miami getting screwed..

Im a fan of Lebron's game, but no way as aggressive as he plays, should last night be the first time he fouled out of a game in 2 years. Heck, when was the last time LBJ was in serious foul trouble?!

I do not think the Heat get screwed on calls or get too much preferential treatment, only some. I have watched the NBA for over 20 years I know that stars get calls, the Heat have 2 of the biggest. So OF COURSE they get the MJ/Magic/Bird/Kobe treatment. Superstars get calls rookies and scrubs do not. Dont like that shit stop watching team sports.

Pierce draws contact, not as much as he used to though, same with Rondo to an extent.

Same can be said with Pierce's last foul, and the KG/Bron tangle among another foul. Refs were bad BOTH WAYS.

While Wade/James attack the rim, it's not like everyone else does. It was called pretty evenly last night.

30 fouls on Mia, 28 on Bos, 20 FT's for Bos, 26 FT's for Mia, how is that rigged, looks pretty even to me, no?

:lol Pierce's last foul wasn't even arguable..he clearly made a pushing motion against Battier, it's an easy call..

Pierce should have already fouled out earlier, when Lebron was called for a terrible offensive foul call, which should have went to Pierce..

Lebron/KG double foul was another terrible call..

Pietrus is a scrub, there's no reason for a scrub to be receiving calls against the face of the league..

As I've said many times, KG is one of my top 3 favorite non-Spurs, but he gets away with murder, tbh, because he wears a Celtics jersey..

The difference between Harlem and the others is that Harlem has actually provided instances of poor officiating, while the others haven't provided anything of substance, other than reiterating their anger over the non-call with Wade vs. Rondo, the only egregious call Miami has received in this series..

James fouled out for the first time in 107 career postseason contests. It was also the first time the nine-year veteran had received six personal fouls since April 2, 2008 at Charlotte.

On a serious note, Wade's play has been troubling outside of 1.5 games last round and one this one, he does NOT look like the Wade that was uber clutch. Lebron keeps shouldering most of the load on offense and defense and yet whenever the Heat lose, James takes the blame. Yes, he still has clutch issues. But if the Heat fail to rang how come Wade goes pretty much unscathed? Guys like Skip, say Wade is Batman and Lebron is Robin but why is Robin getting blamed for not catching Joker?

Wade was horrible last night. Settled for jumpers, was passive, and had the "I don't give a shit" attitude worse than anyone else on his team. I'm not sure how Lebron gets the blame. Wade was the reason Miami lost.

It's beliefs like this that are a big part of the problem. Everyone has his own pet theory on how and when fouls should be called differently. Some say a certain call is legit in the first minute of the 4th quarter, but not during the last minute. Some say a certain call is legit in the regular season, but not in the playoffs. Some say a call is ok against a bench player, but not against a star. Sorry, but I think a foul is a foul is a foul, and the expectation of getting or not getting a foul call based on anything other than the specific play is a recipe for bad officiating.

HarlemHo 37

Get off your high horse Harlem. Refs don't look at regular season numbers to determine who should get foul calls and who shouldn't. You wouldn't be complaining if Miami was getting all the calls and Boston wasn't. If you're going to call it tight, like has been the case in this year's playoffs, then you call the ticky tack fouls for both sides.

And don't act like Stern doesn't want the Heat in the finals. If your exercise in frustration proves anything, it's officials aren't in cahoots with Stern to rig the nba playoffs. I noticed you mentioned all the atrocious calls against Miami but didn't touch the 6 or 7 bad calls against Boston.

And Harlem, this thread wouldn't even exist if Lebron could hit a friggin free throw.
