Well that was unexpected. I guess it's time for Rask to see what he's made of...I gotta think that Thomas has played his last game in a Bruins uniform. Pretty sad, but I'd like to thank him for helping us win the Cup and having an amazing, record-setting year with us.

It's such a weird occurrence. "Hey boss, just letting you know I'm taking this year off to spend more time with my family. That's cool, right?" His family must be psyched though... it's nice to see an athlete turn down a year of playing in order to spend time with his family, but it'd be nice if he retired. :lol
