Where do the 2012 Thunder rank?

1999: Minnesota Timberwolves, LA Lakers, Portland TrailBlazers, New York Knicks

2003: Phoenix Suns, LA Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, New Jersey Nets

2005: Denver Nuggets, Seattle Supersonics, Phoenix Suns, Detroit Pistons

2007: Denver Nuggets, Phoenix Suns, Utah Jazz, Cleveland LeBrons

2012: Utah Jazz, LA Clippers, Oklahoma City Thunder, TBD

So where do the 2012 Thunder rank in opponents we have played in championship years, premature ejac as we haven't won the title, but assuming we do?

Did they play bball in the year of our lord 1012? I think that was before tv, so there is no video of that 1012 Thunder team, so I can not answer that question.

Top 3 toughest teams are 2003 Lakers, 2005 Pistons and 2012 Thunder imo. Hope this year ends as well as all listed

2003 Mavs were damn tough to. If it wasnt for Steve Kerr and Stephen Jackson three point barrages we might not have made it through that year. BTW Duncan was in insane beast MVP mode that year :-)

3rd : 2012 WCF OKC Thunder
4th : 2007 WCSF PHX Suns
5th : 2005 WCF PHX Suns/ 2003 WCF DAL Mavs

05 Pistons were defending champs, we needed a Horry shot from the heavens to win that series, so I'd say they were toughest out.

07 Suns were next toughest opponent. We needed a Horry play again, the hip check of Steve Nash to give us the edge in that series.

This Thunder team is probably 3rd toughest opponent.

Time will tell.

03 Lakers were not tough out at all. They were mediocre that year. I think they were 5 seed or something. The 07 Suns were a 60 game winner that year , finishing ahead of Spurs so had HCA.

Do you really think a thread on this site or a comment made can actually change the fate of a sporting event?

Seriously though, no one could top Detroit as the toughest and best opponent. They were tough son of a bitches.

Hence the boring tag, cuz we could not score, they could not score, it was gruesome tv to watch unless you were a fan of Detroit or SA.

That 05 Pistons series was crazy tough that's for sure. 07 suns series coulda gone either way to, thanks robert horry. 2003 Lakers were 3 time defending champs, 2003 mavs series was classic, and the 2012 thunder.. damn they're certaintly giving us all we can handle.

Still too early to throw OKC into the poll IMO. For all we know, Spurs could win games 5 and 6 with blowout victories, and time would forget how difficult the two away losses proved.

I hope every home team wins every game the rest of the year in these 2012 playoffs.

I wouldn't vote for OKC because they haven't won the title yet.........obviously.
