Ginobili likes to use that phrase. When a player is hot (or cold) sooner or later he must go the other way, to satisfy his average over the long run.
Game 4 was a statistical anomaly. Do you think Serge Ibaka can hit 11 of 11 in Game 5? Do you think OKC can game plan around Ibaka, Perkins, and Collison carrying the offensive load? Just like our winning streak, OKC's offensive performance is unsustainable. And I tell you what, without the statistical help, we were making a serious run at them in the 4th quarter when Durant got hot.
I don't think OKC has a solid game plan now, at least in the player's minds, but we will find out tonight, won't we?
