11/12 Spurs = 06/07 Mavs?

losing in the first round last year, now they can't win a series after being up 2-0. this reminds me of the 06/07 mavs, a heck of a regular season team, but not built for the playoffs.

Exactly. The Spurs for the past two years are built EXACTLY like the Mavs from '05-'07.

The Mavs on the other hand are looking to build a more defensive oriented team suited for the playoffs.
