View Full Version : Timmy's Face At The End

I'm a new poster here, but a long time follower. Idk about you guys, but timmy's face on the bench there at the end of the game looked really depressing, but also leads me to believe that he isn't going down without one final huge stand. He was huge in the fourth and if not for a 4 point play from harden and then the hardest 3 of all time to follow, we probably win that game. Game 6 is gonna be hard, but hey, if we are gonna be champs, we should deserve it. Believe!

He looked like a guy ready to ride into the retirement sunset tbh...

He needs to be pissed and depressed. He is playing poorly and his last chance is fading largely due to his play. Let's see if he has anything left.

Happens to almost every great big man. They play past their prime and end up falling short and looking old. Were Tim to retire this year, he would go out damn good, but he can play a couple more years and the Spurs would be back here next year tbh.

Tim looked like a guy that has been in enough playoff games to know its over.

First off, I think we are all over reacting a little bit about this riding off into the sunset bullshit. That doesn't have to happen this year, win or loss. Duncan will be more or less the same next year, as will parker, and hopefully we resign our key role players and Manu can stay healthy. It's a lot of ifs, but the way we played this season (perfect ball movement, deep bench, etc) can be replicated. However, with that in mind, I expect a complete balls to teh wall effort in OKC

That was pure sadness. But I fully expect him to go all out wednesday. He is a warrior

He's sad. Just lost a big game, he feels like absolute crap. But he's not done.

Neither is this team.

Somehow, someway win game 6.

Tim was golden for us in the final 5 minutes.

I wanted him to take that three to tie it.

He's done enough for us really. Even when I think he just put up a soft-ass shot, I know he's done enough that I don't care in the long-run.

My all-time favorite player.

Even with the shorter season and Pop resting him certain games, he still is worn out despite 2 sweeps and the breaks that came with that.

he's just having trouble remembering if he drove himself to the game or not

Just looks shocked and sad. Nothing I hate right now than fans calling him out too. A lot of people on here must be too young to know what Duncan has given us Spurs fans. I have his back right now. I thought he played hard tonight and with a sense of urgency. Unfortunately, horrible reffing forced him to sit on the bench too much, but when he had an opportunity to play for a while, he stepped up in the 4th quarter. Sucks to see that face on him, because he's my favorite athlete ever.

Spurs need heart and intensity to win Game 6. They need to combine the beginning of the third quarter and the final 3 minutes and stretch it to 48 minutes in game 6. It's elimination time and unless they want to start their summer vacation, they need to leave it out on the floor Wednesday night

I think Tim realizes that the Thunder are just the better team and that they have tried everything they could think of.

I need 38+ minutes from Tim and 20 fg attempts in game six.

I need it and I've got to have it.

If we're gonna survive, it's largely gonna be on Tim.

That's the way it has to be.
