Yes because i am sure he has a grudge and Stern has given him the green light to fuck over the Spurs..

This is great news. He's nutty enough to call an honest game just to spite the home crowd! Yeah!

Mike Taylor claims that the incident with TD was one of Joey's biggest regrets. If that is true, if anything, we should get a fair shake up there. The rest would be up to the team.

I still can't believe the NBA allows this. After the Duncan incident and the Barry non-call. I don't care how many times he says he regrets the Duncan incident, he has a very negative history with the Spurs. He should NEVER ref a Spurs game.

Will you be at all surprised when another controversial call/non-call "coincidentally" goes against the Spurs?

Win or lose I just want the game called fair and the players to decide the outcome

As much as posters on here would like to believe it, refs play no outcome in the game. They may make bad calls here or there, or even biased calls; though the players win or lose.

But they are undefeated at home in the playoffs.....well, then again, so were we before last night.

2006 Mavs semifinals begs to differ.

Officiating blatantly biased towards Dallas.

the problem with this is NBE refs get caught up in the game to often and they kill momentum by calling bad calls

I'm going to guess that the 2nd and 3rd members of the crew will be Bill Kennedy and Jason Phillips.

I think the only other realistic options beyond those two are Tony Brothers, Marc Davis, and Greg Willard.

And don't forget, "Joey" called the controversial game 4 of the Heat/Celtics, with all the bullshit offensive fouls. If you think OKC got a lot of those calls last night, just you wait.

Ibaka has only himself to blame for that, only 1 of his calls was questionable. If anyone should have a gripe it's Duncan who got hosed on both his 1st quarter fouls.

Based on G5 officiating, I had a sense of what Stern wants the Finals should be.
That was fantastic officiating, perfectly directing things, while apparently making numbers even. That last possession given to the Spurs was a beauty: I put you in a hole and still give you a -greasy- hand to come out of it.
Great job by those kids.
Folks, you have the Durants and Ginobilis among Refs

Naming his Joey tonight makes sure there are no surprises.

Blair had an illegal pick called in the second quarter. A little hipcheck.

I carefully watched Perkins picks in the next 10 possessions: same little hipcheck.
10 possessions.
No calls.

A game seven in the conference finals is a win/win situation for everyone. If the Lakers were still in it, maybe we get hosed. But OKC doesn't have anything on us. In fact, Garnett vs. TD in the Finals would be must see TV.

Usually that's true but in close matchups like Spurs-thunder they can be the difference. You think the goaltend they didn't call that led to a 4-pt play didn't effect game 5?
