Lol at the dipshit Heat and Mav fans (who inexplicably hopped on the Heat bandwagon because of their :cry GNSF hatred :cry) who thought Miami's ISO-Monkey-Hero ball would "wax the ass" of the Spurs (or Thunder). Their defense isn't really all that great either. It simply looks good by virtue of being in the shitty Eastern Conference.
I like Miami, but they execute like a bunch of monkeys playing pickup ball in the hood (and so does Boston for that matter but at least they have an excuse since they're ancient).

I agree completely. This is the conference finals and it has two teams that miss wide open shots and don't get back on defense at crucial moments. It's as sloppy as it gets.

Yep. Lol at Rondo standing around like an idiot watching the ball instead of boxing out Wade. Lol at the "great" Miami defense too lazy to sprint back on defense in a fast break situation. Lol at all the shitty ISO ball from both teams.
Just ugly, ugly basketball all around.

Lol at thinking that shitty pickup ISO ball shit would do shit against the Spurs.
Now Boston would "wax that ass?" :lmao
You weren't saying that when they were getting taken to 7 by the shitty 76ers. Now all of sudden they're a juggernaut because Spoelstra's retarded coaching is making Boston look better than they really are :lmao

Any reasonable person knew the Spurs would be in a dogfight with the Thunder, so just because your prediction was unpopular on a Spurs forum filled with homers, doesn't make it some profound example of basketball knowledge. It's not like the Thunder are on the level of the Utah Jazz and you called something no one else thought could happen.
You picked the slight underdog to win the series, so yeah, way to go out on a limb :tu
That said, lol at you thinking Miami's pickup street ball coached by a video coordinator would beat the Spurs.

When the team with the home court holds serve there is a 6.7% chance of the opposing team winning the series. When that team is on a 20 game unbeaten streak it's even more of a choke.
Spin it anyway you want. If Miami and the Spurs lose it is two monumetal choke jobs and will go down in history as such.

they are massively underachieving but will still find a way to overcome this abortion of competition, imo. if they do somehow manage to choke it to boston because of philibeaner, they okc will win it though. the fact that anyone considered the spurs favorites is just laughable to me though. they had as good a chance as boston, miami, okc, lakers, and bulls before rose went down, meaning their odds were pretty slim like i said all along.
Don't disagree with any of that. I was cautiously optimistic about the Spurs all year and even more so during the streak. The Lakers were my biggest worry, and after them, OKC, so I agree their odds to win the title were as good as any other of the contending teams.

Figure of speech moron. Ie. Kobe with the turnover to Durant. Blake and Kobe not connecting on the pass that went out of bounds. Blake missing the last second three. Gasol pussying by turning it over rather than taking it to the basket. But for a few plays it could have been completely different. Those were choke plays and what I was exactly referring to with the few bounces comment.

It's not even worth discussing it with you why the Spurs potential loss to Thunder can't really be considered a choke-job, because you're intellectually dishonest. If you really knew basketball like you profess, you would see the Spurs have been simply outplayed.
Game 1: Spurs down by 9 going into the 4th. Took everything they have to rally back and win that game.
Game 2: OKC adjusted midway through the 3rd, putting Thabo on Parker, and cut a 22 point lead down to 6 in like 8 minutes.
Game 3: Using their new found adjustment, OKC blew the doors off the Spurs.
Game 4: Spurs looked poised to steal one in OKC in the 4th, then Durant scorched them for 16 straight points, and on many of those possessions, Durant was actually defended well. He simply raised his game.
Game 5: Spurs find themselves down 13, at home, in the 4th quarter. They managed to charge late, but fell short.
With the way this series has played out, all the evidence points to OKC simply being the better team. It's not as if the Spurs blew huge leads in every game. Once OKC figured out how to match up with the Spurs's pick-and-roll, that was it.
Here's hoping the Spurs pull one out of their ass tomorrow, but you know me, the eternal pessimist, so I expect the Spurs to lose by double digits.

It's a stat that is compiled by taking the history of all 7 game series over the history of the game. Nothing less, nothing more. Of course there are differences in matchups and it's and average of those througout time.
So I guess I can stop thinking the Lakers choked thier series (as you stated) since they were the underdogs and OKC was the better team and OKC made adjustments (as your contention with the Spurs) to cause those choke plays. hahahahaha

Blowing 7 point lead with 2 minutes left and blowing at 13 point lead with 9 minutes left isn't a result of the other team adjusting, it's a result of choking. Lakers outplayed OKC and lost those games because they choked.

I didnt say i picked the spurs. I said I was rooting for the Spurs because i thought they would be the tougher matchup for the ECF winner the way they were playing. That notion is ridiculous, the ECF teams are at least as good as the WCF. In 2004 most were talking about the (L)east, then the Pistons almost swept the Lakers that dominated the west. This season both the Heat and the Celtics are top defensive teams, have great players too. I don't understand how can anyone think they could get swept in the finals.

Durant doesn't steal that pass if the adjustment to put him on Kobe wasn't made. We can go back and forth on this forever. I admit the Lakers choked. If you lose tomorrow and cannot admit that being up 2-0 and then getting swept after a 20-0 run is choking then alright. I am ok with that. I think the rest of the world will see it differently.
