I realized tonight what I always knew.

When this man retired

our power to win depleted.

We still to this day have the will to win on the offense.

but does anybody really think Harden gets those three's with Mr. Defense around?

You are still the best.

It's unbelievable to think he went undrafted, being one of the best perimeter defenders in the history of the NBA.

Kawhi, who is supposed to be our Bruce Bowen heir, could not contain Durant at all. I mean Durant beat him off the dribble 10 times out of 10. A 30 year old Bruce Bowen could of done work on Durant.

Bruce Bowen.. Love Kawhi and Jax but Durant shit all over them. He drove by them so easily time and time again. D wins rings. Offense fails miserably

Bowen struggled with few players, but was really effective with most of them. That being said, I think that the Spurs lost because of the game 5 21 TO's and 28 points on them. The players weren't focused. The problem was the execution, not only defense. And its a shame, because the Spurs can play better than that.

Given 10-15 points from the refs, OKC is just a very good team and they won game 6 too.

Spurs miss Bruce, but Kawhi and SJax did a pretty good job on KD. Even Bruce couldn't stop KD, like he couldn't stop LeBron.

What the Spurs REALLY MISSED was way too many shots in the 2nd half, shooting well under their game's 44%. Not Championship scoring.

I miss watching Bowen's defense too. My best memory of this season was coming home to Texas to go to the spurs game that his #12 was retired and raised to the rafters.

Fuck off, the only effective guarding of Durant was when the refs called every bullshit ticky tacky call for durant and their darlings.
