Spurs should S&T for him as a part of the Howard trade. They have the contracts (Bonner, Blair, Byars, Joseph, Neal..) to be a good third team in this trade.
Nah, j/k, do not want.

Would be a good fit. Humphries is a nice bruiser. Diaw would have to fill the role of the big that spreads the floor.
Pop loves stretch 4s more than undersized rebounders, tbh

I'd still take him over Bonner.

I'd take him if the price is right. Looks like he's gonna demand a lot of loot.
Only complication is that he wants a long-term deal.
Still, if Pop and RC want to spite the Eastern Conference and the Lakers, sure why not?

Source: Bobcats Interested in Humphries
The Magic, Nets, Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Clippers are involved in complex talks that would involve multiple players and draft picks.
Bobcats gonna be staaaacked... :lmao

The key with an Humphries S&T is whether or not he is fine with a contract that is only 1 year guaranteed. Rebuilding teams like Cleveland and Charlotte are only fine with taking Humphries because he is on a 1 year contract and because they get in addition a first round pick.
If Humphries wants to sign a true contract (3 or 4 years), candidates to get him will be more difficult to find.

I'd happily give him 3 years for Hump and a first, in return for Blair, Bonner, Neal, Byars as expiring contracts. I doubt, howevever, that the FO agrees with me, nor that the assorted teams that BKN is dealing with want any of the above.

I don't think a team can trade away their first round draft pick two consecutive years.

They can't trade two future first round picks in a row. For example, right now they can't trade the 2013 AND 2014 pick before the 2013 draft happens. They can trade the 2013 right now just fine since the 2012 draft already occurred.

unless a washed up robert horry counts
fab was ok but humphries also does everything he did

Apparently his agent is also Dwight Howard's agent, and been trying to push Kris to take on one more 1 year deal so the Howard trade can work out. He would be heading to the Cavs under that scenario.

Depending on his S&T price tag I would be interested in Humphries for 3 yrs.
Haven't really watched him play too much but I want a new face on the team and he doesn't look too shabby on paper.

There's no Spurs big outside of Duncan that I wouldn't give up to get Humphries.

If Humphries is fine with a one-year-contract, I think the Spurs could think about getting him through a S&T.
