Yeah, Hill is old as dirt but if the Spurs lose Green, giving Hill a one-year contract might be a good way to get decent to good minutes while conserving cap space going forward.

Hill was horrible to begin last season but he was good after the All-Star break. The added bonus is he's one of the better Durant defenders in the league.

Moving Jack to SG and having Hill backup Leonard would be one way to handle Green leaving.

Ahh, the free agent that never decides to come here.

It seems all the free agents people want the Spurs to sign are old ass veterans. Do you guys really think getting older and less athletic is going to help us? Just curious.

Imo we don't need a 40 yrs old player, we aren't that desperate.

David Aldridge speculates that the Spurs may be interested in Hill and that Hill may be interested back. He says the same about Hill and the Lakers and throws Steve Nash's friendship with GH into the mix.

I wouldn't mind getting him here, but where would we be playing him? Who's time is he getting?

He's a SF. . .so unless we trade Jackson for something (certainly aren't trading or benching Leonard), I'm not seeing how Hill fits in.

Speculates

At least it's from a reputable reporter like Aldridge, not one with a complete crap reputation like Chris Broussard.

George Hill seemed happy with Indiana. He was a leader and borderline hero there at times last season.
