Neal Boortz is retiring in January. He has been broadcasting for 42 years. Herman McCain will inherit his time slot and audience.

He is one of those hosts who purposely says controversial things. It's part of what makes him so popular on the national stage. I believe nationwide, he is currently #11.
His views are close to mine than any other talk show host I have ever listened to. If you listened to him enough, you would understand when he is serious and when he is just yanking chains. I have to admit that I rarely listen to him. I am normally sleeping when he is on air.
