Celtics: 2005 vs Indiana, 2009 vs Orlando, 2010 vs LA, 2012 vs Miami

Spurs haven't lost in game 7's in a long time.

Yeah, but they've lost to an 8th seed and got backdoor swept in two years.

First one never, ever happened to the Celtics since they joined the NBA. The second one, probably not too.

Game 7s are easy to take as losses because that means that at least your team had the same chances at winning the game the other team did.

BTW Getting backdoor swept happens. And we all know that 8th seed wasn't a legit 8th.

Sure some of you faggots like bringing that up for entertainment purposes but deep down we all know 2011 Memphis were no damn 8.

It's much better to lose in games 7's than to be a number one seed losing to an 8th seed. That's just humiliating.

now when u look at the east, the top seeds are gettin pushed to 6-7 games series in the first round by fodder teams for no apparent reason...

Personally I thought 2006 was brutal, because we were one stupid foul away from a trip to the finals and a chance to win back to back titles. Knowing how close you were doesn't really make it easier, imo.

Edit: whereas knowing you got your ass kicked, well, it's a shame you weren't good enough, but it tends to keep the "what ifs" under wraps.
