So basically the DEA and FBI wins the war and the drug trade in Mexico goes back to business as usual. They tried to actually clean up their country and of course we respond by arming and training the opposition and sending them in to wreck shit until the government gives up. Now the cartels and US gov are free to split the profits as they always have.

Mexico is our neighbor to the south and where the US has spent and still spends a sizeable amount of our tax dollars waging a war on drugs.
