Actually, Mavs fans did. All the sports radio homers wanted to talk about was how "wide open" the West was in the playoffs and the fans believed it. I didn't hear any Mavs fans backtracking until they were down 0-3, and that's when all the "This season wasn't going to count anyway" bullshit started to come out.
