That's 600 jobs to SA BBUUUUUTTTTTT the pay is crap.

Is this good or bad IYMHO?

I don't see how it matters much. Regardless of location. There's no shortage of jobs. Even well paying jobs. There's a shortage of motivated workers but no shortage of those wanting more for less.

I personally don't care. I would send my son/daughter to work over there and have them smuggle it back to the projects with them.

They would probably hire contract because it allows them flexibility. Eventually they would likely retain some workers.

Regardless of the product, it's automation and that requires engineering and management and direct labor.

Why would we pass up being the noodle capital of the US. Think of all the run we would get.
